A good neighborhood store that always has what I need! If I’m cooking and forget I don’t have milk? Or garlic? Or a spice? A short walk to the Bizzar solves it every time :)

Cute grocery store with tons of options! I just needed sour cherry jam to pair with my barbari bread but there are many more options for snacks, sweets, drinks (the pomegranate soda is fun!), and dried spices/legumes/etc.

This store offers all you need in middle eastern, Mediterranean, Afghan and Iranian groceries and kitchenwares. The store is absolutely SPOTLESS with good clearly labeled, prices visible , shelves dusted, stock rotated. Ample selection of teas, coffees, variety of basmati rice, nuts, sweets and a refrigerated section included halal meats. Oh... AND afghan and Pita bread ! They also offer some European cookies- my husband is British and this is where we buy our McVities biscuits! You can also purchase beautiful coffee and tea sets and other unique and decorative goods. The owners are on hand to answer any questions, make suggestions and are very customer focused. They accept SNAP and offer delivery to customers. If your curious about experimenting with food from These cultures, go in and explore! I highly recommend the cardamom tea and the Afghan bread ! The prices are very fair, and again, the cleanliness of the store and variety of goods is beyond compare ! It's part of my regular shopping rounds now!

This was a very hard rating to address. While this new market carries many of the food products for Iranian/Afghani food, I feel an immense amount of guilt shopping with them. Backstory: I've been shopping at another market just a few yards down the street, where the family has been incredibly friendly and carry Iranian groceries. When they opened, they called their small market Star Bazaar and the female owner was always so incredibly kind. Although she's not Iranian, she would always joke with me and help me practice Farsi while I shopped for food to make my partner. She was always curious about what I was cooking and shared tips and tricks. Fast forward to this month, and I realized she had fewer products and very little business. I was told a new market opened down the street, and not only is her customer base switching there, they basically took their business name! I had to investigate, so I drove seconds down the street to this business, Super Star Bazaar. Now, while I will mention this market is new, recently remodeled, and carries many of the same products...it definitely doesn't carry the same level of customer service or friendliness that I experience at Star Bazaar. There wasn't an attempt to speak to me although we were the only ones in the store, and the products were priced higher than the items I buy down the street at Star Bazaar. Overall, I was able to find a product I really needed for a dish I was making today and I did purchase it, but felt guilt in the process. They do carry Sadaf Brand and hard to find items. Owners, please consider changing your store name. There are dozens of options.
