The Broadway Market is a lively and nostalgic place filled with a variety of vendors offering fresh food, baked goods, crafts, and more. Visitors are greeted by the tempting smell of kraut, sweets, and baked treats, creating an inviting atmosphere. The market has a charming, bustling layout with vendors lining the outer walls and forming islands in the center, as well as a second-floor area with additional stalls. It features a wide selection of items, including clothing, jewelry, hats, nicknacks, fresh meats, fish, candies, and butter lambs. Polish vendors are prominent, adding a cultural touch, but there are also Italian bakeries like Gino's, known for their friendly service and delicious pastries such as iced hearts, cookies, and giant cinnamon rolls. Visitors often find themselves returning year after year, drawn by the freshness of the food, the friendly staff, and the nostalgic atmosphere that evokes memories of past visits. The market remains a cherished place for families, offering a mix of food, crafts, and community spirit. It is especially recommended for those seeking quality meats, baked goods, and a warm, friendly shopping experience.
I started going there back in the early 1960's when it was called Pearson's. My mom was a waitress there. I still love the food and atmosphere in the Broadway Market. Lots of great memories.

Broadway Market is the home of Jett’s Bagels! It’s a historic market with a great future: this video is of a Polish band playing Johnny Cash in January ’26, and all February ‘26 they will feature local Black bands for Black History Month. I love this place! 😍

Unless you're going on a weekend or when they have something special going on, it's pretty scarce there. Not much going on.
