wanted to make mention of the wonderful service I experienced at this wonderful little shop. unlike many of the bigger tech repair stores, the owner took the extra time to walk me thru the issues that I was having with my 4 year old Lenovo Thinkpad, and described in detail what needed to be done to get it back to like-new working condition. the price was very reasonable, and he also took the time and effort to completely clean the entire laptop (looked like brand new ! ), and he threw in some extra parts & tweaks etc for free as well :) could not be happier with the service and the wonderful job they did. now going on 1 year later and my Laptop is still running perfectly. highly recommended, thanks guys, much appreciated !!

Amazing service! My laptop has been acting-up for a while and finally gave-up on life right before Thanksgiving. I had read great reviews on Yelp and i try and use small businesses rather than big chains as you get a better and personalised service AND you dont get charged ridiculous prices. So I took it in 3 days before Thanksgiving and told them what was wrong, they charged a very reasonable $39.99 and said they would call with an update in a few days, maybe a day or two later than usual because of the holiday. I heard from them 2days later, everything was fixed and my computer was ready for pick-up. My hard drive has about had it but it's usable for now, they gave me advice on how to take better care of it and when it might need replacing and they were super friendly and efficiate all for the low price of $30!! So $69.99 TOTAL to bring my laptop back to life in 2 days - I will DEFINITELY be going here again for advice, computer accessories and help when I ruin my next laptop!!

The staff at Little Laptop Shop were extremely friendly and helpful. They even loaned me free keyboard to use while I was waiting for the part to arrive so there wasn't any down time. I've used them before and definitely will use them again in the future. Great experience.

I had an issue with my work laptop an HP. These guys charge a non refundable consultation fee and gave me the run around when it came to the problem and told me my laptop had to be shipped out to another location. When i got little information and no estimated date I got nervous. I went to the shop to pick up my device and the dust was in the same place, it didn't seem like they bothered to open up the device to take a look. I was highly disappointed. I don't recommend this place at all.

I seriously love these guys. There are so many unfriendly places around NYC that are more well known but don't provide even a quarter of the customer service that LLTS provides. Tia in particular is amazing. So knowledgable and easy to work with. Our office can be a little loud and crazy at times, and she doesn't even flinch. We love her. David is just about as good as it get. He's not going to nickel and dime you - but beyond that he is just a pleasure to work with. Which is a reflection of everyone who works on the team there. I can't recommend them more!!

SOOOO much cheaper than Geeksquad, etc. I was trying to find a place that could transfer data from my computer with a dead motherboard to my new computer for a reasonable price..all of the big popular places were trying to charge me a ridiculous amount and couldn't provide a timely turnaround time. I stumbled upon this place and they did the job for half as much AND really quickly. The guy was very nice and helpful and even backed up my data to my external hard drive for no additional cost. They also recycled my old laptop!

Ok, they are professional, but expensive. I had a problem with my PC laptop, it doesn't want to start up and I knew it was kind of the end of my computer life. The girl at the front desk is not friendly, we are not going to talk about the weather. She said It cost you 40$ before anything have been done, just to check the problem. Ok. They call me back the day after to tell me the hard drive was dead and the cost to replace it is 299$. Ok. I am not going to do it, considering that the price of a new PC laptop is 400$. Ok. They saved my files for 69$ more. O-K! I in total I paid 100$ for my files. That is fine, but I think is still expensive to pay 14 of my computer price for that.

This store is wonderful. Friendly, helpful, fast and very fair. They're doing business the old fashioned way with good customer service, kindness and integrity

The prices are cheap, better than going to big chain stores where the people behind the counter don't seem like they are paid enough to care. Little Laptop did a great job helping me fix my computer after a virus. They were able to fix damaged programs and were able to retrieve more of my files than I thought they could. The only down side is I've been to places in Brooklyn where I wait 2 days for repairs and this took me 4 days. However, this was my first virus so this could be the usual wait time. Either way I'm satisfied.

Had a great experience with Little Laptop Shop. I had a very old, external hard drive that my computer would not recognize. It was so bulky and out of date that when I took it to Best Buy they didn't even know what it was and gave me the run-around about how they could proceed with diagnosing it. I wasn't sure if it was just fried or the info on it could be saved. I took it to LLTS and within two days, they had transferred all of my beloved pictures, music, and documents that I never thought I'd see again onto my new hard drive. Service was fast, straight forward, and a life-saver. Definitely recommend over corporate counterparts!

Thank You! I'm a big fan! Decided to try this shop after reading some reviews and suspecting they might be able to fix my baby (Macbook). And it's in one of my favorite NY neighborhoods. Paid the $39, dropped of my laptop on the saturday before Labor day and was advised that bz of the holiday they were closed till Tuesday. I didn't expect to hear from them until Friday bz the diagnostics would take about 3 days. Well to my surprise, they called on Tuesday advising me that all my laptop only needed a good cleaning of the fan, which they did, and it was ready for pickup. Total cost $69! and I haven't had a problem with it since. Saved me a minimum of $500 (quoted by Apple) or $1,500 (the price of a new laptop). The experience was fantastic, go to these guys, they're fast and honest. I will return for sure...

I am a HUGE fan of these guys. Anatoly is fast, expert and tries to save you money wherever posible. For example, the drive on my MacBook died, and rather than just telling me what it would cost to replace, he noticed it was not the original, checked the serial, found it was still under warranty and told me that he could do all the packaging and whatnot for me, saving me a couple hundred buck. Previously he'd replaced the screen on the same laptop. Total, I've spent $300 with these for two major surgeries to keep my seven-year-old laptop as good as new. Apple would have just pushed me towards a new machine (still kinda want an Air to be honest). Oh they're fast as hell too. When I had the screen installed I dropped it off and wandered about for a bit before heading home, seven blocks or so away. I was opening my building door when they called. I figured they must be asking about something, but no, it was done. (I'd had them pre-order the screen though, which had taken a day or two.) Very strongly recommended.

Although this happened several months ago, every time i walk by the store i remember how horribly they treated me there. My friend came down to fix my computer and headed in there to inquire if they sold screwdrivers. They were a bit busy, so waited patiently until they were ready. We asked the gentleman if they sold screwdrivers, he turned around and talked to another customer. "Ok no biggie" we thought, so again waited...then when he finally decided to acknowledge we were there he handed us over a set. Then we asked how much it cost and again just turned around and began to talk to other customers. He took so long to answer that last question that we even wondered if he even heard us! A few minutes later it was evident that he did in fact hear the question because we got a reply after him not only talking to other customers ( that walked in afterwards of course) but just staring at his screen. I don't understand what his logic was to think that its ok to treat anyone like this. I am not a regular yelper, but i can't get over this event because it was one of the most humiliating experiences ever.

So happy! They fixed my possessed laptop. The mouse wasn't working and even when I plugged another mouse in, it was still clicking randomly across the screen without my activating anything. These guys fixed my comp in 4 days and it works great!! Thanks so much you guys!!!!
