“Didn't go to buy anything lately, but donated 16 bags of clothing, shoes, belts, safety vests, purses, and hangers. I help them because they also help me at times. And anything that helps vets is a good thing in my book.”

“I love habitat for humanity restore! I always find something to bring home at a great price. The main things I look for here are furniture and household items. Whether Its for the kitchen, bathroom, living room, even playroom, I find something I need. They also have 50%, 25% and 10% color coded stickers that'll mark your items even less.”

“There is not enough space to write about how great this place is. Jennifer and Mike the Owners are truly the nicest, fairest people you could ever meet. They work incredibly hard to bring their customers the best deals ever. My Wife and I feel like Family not Customers. If you enjoy the hunt and looking for the greatest selection of stuff there is NO place better. Give their Facebook page a like. Their usual hours are 8-2 on Saturdays but verify before you go but DEFINITELY go!!!!!!!”

“Absolute treasure trove for shoes, especially high heels. In general it's a hidden gem, and a must for thrift shoppers far and wide. St Vincent De Paul's has everything, clothes, shoes, houseware, frames, furniture, etc. I had a great time perusing the shop. However, it's a shame that most of the shoes were for smaller women when I visited. Would definitely come back, it's a great find.”

“Ladder is scheduled to reopen Sept 2024 after being closed for a month due to roof repairs. I can't wait! It's a cute thrift store with a great staff and you never know what treasure you'll find. It's also very clean thanks to the dedicated ladies who run it.”

“A lot of the pieces were dated or had small imperfections. I didn't find much I would personally like but maybe in a few months I will return and find something special.”

“As a person who believes in repurpising and recycling, I'm a huge thrifter. I do not get to Sakvation Army much because this being the closest, it's about a half hour away. Wish there was one closer. I did get some deals on hardliners and stuff, but I didn't have time to go through most clothes. I did look at the infants and thought they were expensive.”

“Excellent selection of used goods including furniture, hardware and building supplies. I've both shopped and donated here while having a great experience each time. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Please take the time to support the work they do by donating or buying something today!”

“Just stopped in there for Erie County flu shot event but the staff was very nice, both for Salvation Army and the county vaccine distributors. They were very covid conscientious and that's always important and appreciated. I think at first they thought I was confused where I was but it went off fine. Glad there were no problems.”

“This is as close as you'll find to a permanent garage sale. It looks like a tornado hit the place and they gave up trying to organize it. But if you're willing to dig, you can find some amazing things at amazing prices. I will definitely be back!”

“I treasure the William Street Goodwill.....the "mother ship" of the WNY Goodwill fleet of stores.I find the William Street store to be spotlessly clean and well organized with a varied selection of new and vintage items. I always find very unusual ( and frequently high-end) items that are always in perfect condition and working order. The staff is helpful and always friendly and the prices are always fair. This is probanly the smallest of the WNY Goodwill stores, but it strikes me as being a truely special "jewel", being in perfect order and with consistent quality merchandise. I compliment the stores management in their ability to maintain high standards of merchandise and an excellent staff.”

“The nicest Goodwill of WNY ( and I’ve shopped at ALL of them!) The workers were so pleasant and helpful. It’s like shopping with friends. The other locations should be trained here, they are doing it right?”

“This is one of the best thrift stores in WNY, if not America. Caroline, Darlene and the crew do a great job keeping the store organized and clean. We find tons of unique vintage and new items here every time we stop in.”
