I went to verizon on Niagara Falls blvd, what a horrible experience. Waited over an hour with associate standing around chatting telling us they are low staff. Been with Verizon over 10 years and definitely the customer service experience going downhill. Would consider switching to another carrier.

UPDATE 2/11/2025: They sent two bills for ‘Non-payment’ for a closed non-existent phone number that they refuse to close or refund us for to collections. Actual, literal scumbags at this store. Stay away at all costs.
UPDATE 1/30/2025: We received a letter in the mail nearly three weeks after this event that stated our disconnection happened on January 9th, which is 2 and a half weeks after we canceled the line. They then charged us $117 on January 27th.
Just straight up charging us for nothing.
ORIGINAL: We went into this store to cancel our Verizon phone plan as it was $117/month when another provider could give us the same for $50/month.
We walked in, waited 10 minutes for the staff to walk over to us, and told them we wanted to cancel our phone plan and transfer our number to another provider.
The Verizon representative told us that we didn’t have to come in store to cancel, and by simply switching our phone number to another provider it would automatically cancel our account and we would get refunded for the remaining days. I *specifically asked* if that would also prevent future automatic payments and he said ‘Yes’.
So we listened to him and got our number transferred and made a new plan with another provider. Turns out, they didn’t mention us needing a Cancelation Pin and our Account number to do so. After we transferred, and fought with Verizon support to get that info in the first place, Verizon charged us anyways.
Now Verizon is refusing to give us a refund because ‘the phone number isn’t associated with any account.’ So they’re just charging us for a phone plan without a number and won’t refund us for it, and won’t cancel it because they ‘can’t get into the account without a phone number’.
If I was a bit more cynical, I’d believe this was part of the plan to screw over someone on their way out.
They’ve lied to us and now refuse to give us our money back. Go literally anywhere else.

Rude counter guy, lied to me, said I didn't call first, and refused to take my old obsolete router and set top boxes!
Lying to my face is unexcusable!

Went in the store today because getting the run around with Verizon customer care and being transferred to Apple support when for a perk. going to the store a young man helped trying his best trouble shooting in every way that he can inside get his name because he kept being interrupted by a worker who I learned that is the manager named Melissa, to go help other people over she kept talking when I’m trying to explain the issue I’ve been having since 12/20/24 and she could care less. After telling her how frustrating it had been getting the run around over the phone which is why a visit was made to the store she still said it’s nothing I can do I’ll have tech support call you and kept walking away looking to help other people after over 2 hours in the store I was on the phone with tech support while still in the store to see can things just be removed which the manager Melissa could have did but she refused to. Whom ever put her in position to be a manager, heads up bad decision all she does is want to check people in and tell the workers to stop with the person there helping and help someone else while she stand and watches poor example of a manager very rude..

Went into the store to see about getting my daughter a new phone. Well, I wish is had not. My account is all messed up, now. The rep did things I specifically told him not to do. Somehow adding a 5th line was supposed to be the easiest way to get my daughter a new phone at no device payment. Her phone had a cracked screen so could not be traded in. This was only supposed to raise my bill about $15. My other lines were not supposed to be affected by this change. The service were all supposed to be the same. I told him not to change the plans on 2 of my lines. He did it, anyways. These lines were on plans that are longer available. The new equivalent plan is more expensive so it did not make sense to switch them over. We have the Disney bundle I asked 3 times that it would not affect are access. It did. Even though it shows as on my bill. All this with some of the worst cell service I have gotten in years.

I am with a different carrier and went into this store to see if they had a better plan. The customer service person named Reuban, told me they had a plan that would cost me $71.36 a month after taxes. I was concerned about the coverage area. he said, "I could put a temporary # on your phone as a trial. See if you get the coverage you need and if so you can switch over to us". You can switch back and forth on your phone to use either carrier, it will be a trial period, if you switch then we will bring your # over to Verizon and you will be billed $71.36." He needed a charge card # so if i incurred any other services any other charges or decided to switch they would have my bank account info. He then took my phone and programmed it to use the Verizon network with a temporary#. That was on 6/25/24. On 7/1/24 (6 days later) I got a bill for $115.08.
I go back in and he says "never said that". He called customer service from the store and said they could only give me a $59.00 credit ! I used the phone 3 times to test their signal. It was no good so i never used it again. Now 10-15 times a day I'm getting texts and messages to update my phone with Verizon updates...
the account is closed, so i cant talk to anyone. I went back to the store and they refuse to remove their Verizon network info he put on my phone. (because I seemed upset) well yea... a free trial ended up costing me $59 for 3 attempted calls. So now i must switch to my other carrier every time i want to use my phone. No one will help me over the phone because its a closed account. In summation... they charged me $56 as a "trial use of their network for a few days and will not refund my money !
Don't be fooled with their "trial" of their network... I'm caught in a nightmare and cant get the Verizon stuff off my phone. No place to turn. repeated attempts to get a response from a manager has gone un answered. No way to get my money back! You have Been warned...

AVOID Verizon Wireless. The switch from T-Mobile to Verizon was a nightmare. Started simple enough, quoted a bill equal to or less than what T-Mobile was charging us. Half-way through the transition their system crashed and we had to wait...We were there for 3 hours. The sales agent was nice enough. We had to come back later in the day to switch my father's phone over because he wasn't with us at the time. This time however we had a different sales agent because the other one had left for the day. This new agent acted like she didn't want to be there and that she just wanted us gone and that we were annoying her(probably because she wasn't making commission off us because it was the other agents sale). We are there another hour and a half. We go home and our Netflix/HBO perk is not working. Call customer support and they had to escalate it to three different tech agents because they couldn't figure it out. We finally get to the 3rd agent on the phone and she informed us that the My Verizon website has just crashed and that it would be 48 hours before they can look into it. We were on the phone for 2 hours. 3 days later and we had to call again and they finally resolved the issue after another hour of being on the phone. We were TOLD and I HAVE pictures of the promotion saying we would get a tablet for FREE but it had to be done Online which the first agent said he had done... however because he left for the day the second agent didn't understand and handed us one from the store rather than it being ordered online. We didn't think anything of it until we saw the bill and that we were being charged for it and that are bill was also 80 dollars more than T-Mobile was charging us. My family feels scammed, deceived, and exhausted from this experience. We should of stuck with T-Mobile. If you go here record everything said!

Update: Horrible experience here. You walk in and they order you to sign in with the QR code, and don't want to hear that you can't because your phone won't turn on. I had taken the SIM card out because the phone wouldn't turn on and I wanted access on an old phone. Apparently without the SIM card in the newest phone, I don't exist anymore. I couldn't get my phone repaired because they said there are no technicians with Verizon. They only replace phones. But they cannot replace mine because they cannot confirm the issue. And I also can't buy a new one because they can't find me in the system. I gave the guy my phone number a dozen times and he kept reading back every other number on the plan and I'm like no that's this person. How is the account manager not findable? I got the access code from another member on the line but they still said I didn't exist and therefore I couldn't buy a new phone. But I won't exist until I have a phone that can turn on with my SIM card. The guy just didn't care. When I first asked if I could just buy a phone instead of fixing it, he was like I guess if you want to today... No sense of wanting to help. I asked for clarification of how I'm supposed to buy a new phone if they can't bring my account up and he just shrugged and walked away so I said I guess I'll try another store. He was rude and no help. I went home and upgraded my phone on the Verizon app without his help. Why couldn't he do that in store?
Old review: I consistently get amazing service here. The most recent time, Andrew was incredibly patient with my mother. He tried really hard to answer her questions in a way she could understand and stayed a few minutes after closing to finish up what he was doing for her and answered my questions about my current plan too while helping her. He was honest in his recommendations in what we needed and saved us money.

Tuesday 12/19/2023 6-7 PM staff, SIM card randomly gave out on me. Guy helping me did not know how to properly help. Woman with glasses had extremely rude tone speaking to me as if I'm a toddler. Thank goodness for the manager who had a great big smile on his face who came to the rescue! Appreciate you

What an awful experience I had at this store just yesterday. The gentleman (I am being extremely kind by calling him that, as there are other words that would fit him much better) was extremely rude and condescending to me for no reason whatsoever. Due to the fact that this store is a retailer and not an authorized dealer, I drove out there, to take care of my bill as I had been having issues paying by use of the app, and by phone. This "gentleman" was behind the desk on his tablet, and looked up at me as if I was being an inconvenience to him. I told him I would like to pay my bill. It was clear to me that he didn't want to be bothered. "He said why don't you pay it via the app or by phone?" I explained that I was having issues with the app as well as my phone. He finally showed me the machine and told me I could use this to pay, which I did. I was also having an issues getting my phone to work, but since he did not want to help, I waited 10 minutes for another employee to help me. Given the fact that I pay Verizon a lot of money, and I don't deserve to be treated like this, I am going to switch to another carrier.
