Wilkeson Pointe is a great little park with amazing and beautiful views of the lake. It is a wonderful and very nice area for relaxing, to walk, bike, sit, or bring a kayak to launch. The park has nice walking paths, bike paths, and paved pathways around a grassy area with a small hill. There is a rocky little beach where you can listen to the waves, though you can’t swim. The small beach is dog-friendly. There are picnic tables and great picnic spots, but no grills. It is a great place for couples, families, friends, and dogs, with many people walking dogs on leashes. On summer weekends, there is a food truck and a beer trailer, and occasionally bands will play. It is a gorgeous park for family photos or to enjoy the outdoors, though it can be breezy or very windy by the water. There is no charge for parking or entry.
It's great little park to go if you want a nice view of the lake. Busy but not too busy during the summer. Has picnic tables and some nice walking paths and bike paths. I highly recommend it.

What a gorgeous little park!! We stopped at the Beer Garden for a beer before making our way down to the water. A great place to take family photos.
