About Osmote

Osmote is a Finger Lakes, New York farm winery based out of Burdett, New York on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake. Osmote means to move naturally towards balance. This is both a nod to the Finger Lakes, which tempers the extreme weather of Upstate New York, and also to the low intervention approach of the winery, focused on natural vineyard yeast fermentations.

    One of the best American wineries. At the tasting room, Grace was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the wines and the surrounding area. The wines are fantastic and the view is unbeatable. Highly recommend!
