“I’ve lived here 6 years. Only started taking my cars here the last two years. The experience is the best in the area IMO. I often do work on my own cars and have a good idea how long things take. Their labor hours for jobs are fair and the mechanics I’ve talked with are happy to give you the time of day if there are questions or explanations needed. I’ll often source my own parts, sometimes just from Napa down the street, and tires etc from tirerack and they’ve taken all that in stride and accommodated. They will also make you an appointment for inspection and will actually keep it, and have WiFi while you wait. They have failed me for inspection a few times, all those times I can definitely verify they were being honest about actual bad parts that needing replacing. Once they said my rear control arms were bad on my BMW, I was suspect because generally I can feel those being bad - and I had recently rotated my tires and hand tested the control arms for play and didn’t find any. They were happy to put the car back on the lift and show me, when the wheel was on you could definitely wiggle some play in the bushing. I had done my hand inspection with the wheels off, the extra leverage the wheel provided illustrated the play in the bushing. All is to say they have been totally honest and a pleasure to work with and communicate with at reasonable prices. So much better than other places around here.”
“Great store the owners are wonderful people I'm always greeted with a hello my friend . They always have everything i need here when I run out of something and the prices are decent even the gas is cheaper if you pay cash !! Plus it closest store to my house which is nice !! I send my friends here when they come and visit and they all seem to like this store also!!”
“This is a really good little market at the top north part of the Taconic Parkway right before the MA Turnpike.
It has a good selection of bagged snacks and drinks and hot foods too! Cigarettes, vapes and gas are sold too. Excellent stop for the potty, if you have a need.”

“I love our local Stewart’s, but I really feel for the staff a lot of the time. The place often runs on a skeleton crew, hustling nonstop just to keep the line moving. I don’t understand why they don’t have someone dedicated just to food and ice cream. Those ice cream orders can really hold up the line — I’ve seen it 15 people deep at times. I even swear I once saw a tear in a worker’s eye while some cranky old lady yelled at the scooper to pile on more.”

“In the extensive land of US truck stops and rest areas, Love's is consistently one of the best. Just wish they had EV chargers! C'mon Loves's - get with it!
Admittedly, my expertise in truck stops is limited, but I do stop here on trips between between New York and Killington - probably 20 times per year, for years. Clean restrooms, great place to poop! Showers for you truckers. Lots of snacks and souvenirs. Today I bought a banana.
Grab some jerky or a delicious candy treat, Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and of course a nice selection of exclusive miscellaneous tube-meats on the Love's cooking rollers😜”
