“I had the pleasure of visiting Uncle Sam's Antiques this past weekend. First we were drawn in by the smell. The place smells of rustic apple pie and pumpkin pie with a hint of fresh laundry blowing in the wind. When we entered, immediately I was drawn to items that evoked great memories in my grandparents houses.
The store is exceptionally organized with nostalgic china, furnishings, decorative pieces, kitchen items, even children's items. These pieces make me feel like I am back in the good ole days, and I had a hard time pulling myself out of there.
The owner is a supremely personable guy. He was inviting and calming and has a presence of someone who you would just like to sit around a fire with.
If you have a chance, go wander through the store and relish in the history of this massive collection!”
“I like to go because I like to give things a second chance and more than that I like to decorate my home and transform the decorations I buy at that thrift store”
“Love the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail! I've served as a board member for several years now, but before that I was a huge fan of all the Trail offers. Intimate settings, beautiful views and award-winning wines. Plus, one of the benefits of a Trail this size is you can do it all in a day AND meet the tastemakers. Highly recommend this Trail and the wine tasting passport it offers.”
