“Just bought a 2016 Chevy Silverado with the 6l80 six speed transmission that was making a grinding noise, almost like when your going over the rumble strips on the shoulder. “Operator Eric S is an automotive wizard! And friendly, to boot! I was lucky enough to get Eric of Val U Auto Towing on a call contracted by my USAA Roadside Service. We live up in the mountains outside Albany, and sometimes have a hard time getting service for certain things. We lucked out in this case. I was hoping a simple battery jump would get me on my way, but it still wasn’t starting. Eric said “let me try something.” And 30 seconds later, he was explaining to me about the sensor in my Jeep that wasn’t reading that the car was in park. Inconveniently, he already had a car on his truck and needed to take care of it first. But a phone call to customer service at the contractor, Agero, and they updated my case for a redo from a simple battery jump to a tow. An hour or so later, Eric was back at my house taking care of me and hauling my car into Albany to the dealership.
