“Bridal reflections was the 6th (!) place I went to and the best experience I had. The store is beautiful and the fitting area is spacious.

My consultant Maria A. was great. I was a little lost on what I wanted after having tried on so many things. She pulled not one but two dresses that I loved and made my family cry! And under budget. I went way over the appointment time without realizing and they were kind about it, they had someone else work with the next bride so Maria could finish up with me without rushing me.

Lisa was also really helpful in helping me figure out how to add sleeves/more coverage to the dress I chose. She was very honest about what they could and could not do, not just saying “yeah yeah we can do anything” in order to make the sale. Neither of them were pushy at all.

I just ordered the dress so I can’t speak to alterations yet but everyone who helped me was excellent and I would definitely recommend.”

“Noor bridal shop in Hicksville is the perfect place to find a beautiful outfit for a special occasion/wedding…I felt like my mom and sister were helping me with everything I needed! They were so knowledgeable, professional, helpful and kind. They are also very fast and reliable with alterations! This was my first South Asian wedding experience and I was completely clueless about what to try on or buy. When I left, I felt so prepared and well taken care of… I highly recommend-a must! ❤”

“Sophia was such a great help when I came in to Lotus to look at wedding dresses. It was my very first dress appointment and the first dress I tried on ended up being my favorite! Since I like a few different styles, I found myself getting a bit overwhelmed with the variety but Sophia listened to me and was so attentive. She really learned what I liked and was able to guide me and reassure me during the process of elimination. Highly recommend!

EDITED REVIEW: POST-WEDDING:
I found the dress of my dreams in one appointment! I tried on I think 7 dresses and the first one I tried ended up being the winner. Before the appointment you are given access to a personal online portal where you can pre-select a few of the gowns they have available. That process was SO important in helping me narrow down my choices and realize all the elements I did and did not want in a wedding dress. All the gowns I had pre-selected online were waiting for me to try on when I arrived at my appointment, plus I was able to try on a few additional ones as well.

I worked with Sophia and she was so sweet and totally understood my taste and answered all my questions and concerns. I liked several elements from different dresses and she helped me find something that had a little bit of everything I was looking for. She shared her opinions without making me feel bad and she made the whole process wonderful. I did not at all feel like I “missed out” on having a drawn-out wedding gown adventure with multiple appointments at multiple shops. That one appointment at Lotus was exactly what I needed and it helped prevent me from feeling burned out from decisions.

I had my two fittings the month before my wedding and the seamstress did a wonderful job making sure my dress fit properly. My dress and veil really looked beautiful on the day of. I felt like a princess and I was so incredibly happy with everything.”

One of my brides had one for her wedding and I immediately fell in love. We went to the Manhasset store during a sale they were running, and their professionalism and hospitality mannerisms were beyond anything I would have expected.  Everyone there was so nice and helpful! I got to leave the store that day with a beautiful “Half Renni” stoned headpiece and earrings as well. My mom also found a beautiful pair of earrings as well! “I chose to go to Bridal Reflections because my mom had gotten her dress there 30 years ago. From the minute I met Gabbi, she was able to help me narrow down my likes, and was able to find me my dream dress on the first day, after only about 7-8 dresses! Then, when the dress came in, we had some issues with the bodice. Michelle was able to help me get more fabric from the manufacturer to rebuild the top that was a concern. She was checking in with me the whole time, and made sure to give me updates as she received them. Then, when we got to alterations, ZiZi was like a fairy godmother. She worked her magic to rebuild the top for me, and went above and beyond in every way possible. The shop added a special piece of fabric for me, and made sure they delivered things on time. The whole shop, from every assistant to seamstress, was absolutely incredible, despite some setbacks. Because of their care and attention, my wedding dress was absolutely beautiful.”

“I was personally taken care of by Alberto Insua at this location and felt very welcomed by him. I was very nervous about going into the Rolex dealer that was also attached to and working with London Jewelers. He was warm with his welcome and took me through the models. He did not try to upsell me on models that were too expensive but he also made sure to make me feel comfortable in the fact that he did not think that money would be an issue for me. I was only 23 and I thought that the experience would be a lot more judgmental because of all the videos of people online in other dealers. However, I can say for sure that they are not true this man was the pinnacle of understanding and professionalism. I would highly recommend making a special appointment with him specifically for your first watch purchase. I was able to find the specific type of model of Rolex that I was looking for that day at the London Jewelers, and I look forward to being able to buy more with Alberto again in the future if he is still there.”

“I had an absolutely fabulous experience with Andrew Howard Dry Cleaners!

I accidentally got nail polish on one of my favorite nylon Prada handbags and called Andrew Howard Dry Cleaners in a panic! Andrew immediately reassured me that they would do everything they could to remove it, although he warned me that it might be tricky. I completely understood and expected that the bag might not come back looking perfect.

To my absolute surprise, just two days later, I picked up my bag—and it looked PERFECT and brand new! There isn’t a trace of the nail polish, or any sign that it was ever there. I honestly couldn’t believe the results!

This is the second handbag they have cleaned for me, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful for their incredible work, care, and expertise.

I first came across Wedding Plaza after having a “meh” experience at another bridal shop. Eager to find my dress elsewhere, I went on the designer’s website and saw that TWP carried the designer.

I reached out to Ron to explain that I was looking for a specific dress from a designer they carried. He responded almost immediately and let me know they didn’t have the dress in-store, but that he would see what he could do. By the end of the day, Ron let me know he had worked some magic and was able to get the dress in from the designer specifically for me to try!

I brought my evening gown for her (4 sizes too big and soooo long, not to mention a neckline that had to be covered ) the day before my event. “After trying on numerous online dresses that did not fit, I did a search and came across Queen of Hearts. I'm so glad I did. Julie is super knowledgeable and really helps find a flattering fit. She really helps people that are in a bind and is open and honest. “I wish I could give 6 stars! My family has been coming to Samaira for Eid outfits for a long time and so when it came time to shop my wedding outfits, I knew where to go. I bought my Nikkah outfit, which was the first thing I tried on, and immediately fell in love! They were able to lengthen and alter the blouse and have it back to me in no time. We also custom made a jumpsuit for my haldi that was the exact look I wanted with some sleeves for modesty.

Lastly, the most special and incredible moment came when I asked them to last minute create a custom piece after another designer failed me. They were so tentative to make sure they did it right the first time that I needed no further alterations. The work was done BEAUTIFULLY and it feels like the highest quality, which you can always expect from Samaira. (I’ll update my review with pictures after my wedding!)”
