“I was born and raised in and around the Schodack/East Greenbush area and the Jewelry Repair Center on Columbia Turnpike has been there as long as I can remember. Throughout the last 30+ years, my family has taken many pieces in for repair with excellent results. This family business is top-notch...Their highly effective and efficient jewelry repair coupled with friendly, personalized customer service is delivered with integrity and warmth- These people make you feel like family! Every piece of your jewelry is important to them, no matter the monetary value, as they understand and protect the sentimental value that is many times attached to jewelry.In 2018, I had dropped off an old watch for repair, it was a piece with much history and sentimental value to me as well as to the person I gifted it to back in 2002. Last month, after being out of state for the past 5 years, I returned to my hometown. I went back to the Jewelry Repair center with a hopeful heart that the watch I dropped off over 5 years ago was still waiting for me; but I also knew that there was a pretty good chance that I would never see it again. I cautiously walked in and was greeted by a very friendly woman. I inquired about what happens to jewelry that never gets picked up by its owner, and she told me they do not sell jewelry that doesn't get picked up; rather, they hang on to it. I continued to be hopeful as a total of 4 employees collaborated on where my watch might be. Apparently, since 2018, they had updated their records to computer, and my watch was not listed in the database. They were literally going through the archives! Much to my surprise, after about 10-15 minutes, a gentleman appeared from the back room with my watch! He reported that 5 years ago, he replaced the inside of the watch and the battery (the battery needed replacing again by now, which he did right then and there). The watch was as beautiful as I remembered it, and now like brand new.Thank you to all the staff at the Jewelry Repair Center for your many years of excellent customer service and dedication to all your customers- We appreciate you! :)”

“Great staff and great work They did amazing on a resize of an ring I got for my girlfriend very relieved after I was told by a different company that it couldn’t be done bc it had cz Diamonds. I can say that the kindness and hospitality I received on the phone was transferred in person i had a very pleasant experience while there and I was meet with a very welcoming feel as I walked In. As I asked questions and received answers they were very helpful and patient. I would definitely recommend going here especially if you’re local.”

Every employee was warm and welcoming.We were shopping for a person that is VERY PARTICULAR about her jewelry and the staff was incredible. They kind of floated around the store and pulled relevant pieces from display cases with every bit of knowledge and confidence!The jewelry itself was gorgeous. Each piece we were shown was like a wearable piece of art. Modern, Classic, Unique, etc... I look forward to returning and having an official jeweler for the rest of my years.
