“This is a lovely inn with antique furnishings and all modern comforts. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and well appointed. We fell asleep to the sound of the fountain in their on site pond and woke to a delicious, creative and well prepared breakfast. Mykonos the resident cockapoo even hopped on our arms and said hello quite clearly!”
“One of the better hotels I’ve stayed in for lacrosse tournaments. Don’t know if it was by luck or if the hotel is always quiet, but we didn’t hear anything all night or in the am. The entire hotel was sold out and I see why. Will definitely be booking here again. Only negative was my room had a huge ac condenser right in front of it. I believe it’s the only room that has the condenser in front of it. Stay if possible floor two or higher and you can guarantee you won’t have an obstructed view.
The two women tending to breakfast were very very friendly.”

“A nice, family-run, and clean (if dated) mid-century motel perched above the highway and surrounded by beautiful grounds and forest. Great place for hikers taking a night off the Appalachian Trail: it's only a few miles from the trailhead, the rates are super affordable, and the owner is happy to help with laundry. The place needs updating, but it's clean and safe and a great value for the money. I would 100% stay here again.”

“Four stars for the Fairfield Inn up in Goshen — and honestly, it could've gone the other way if not for one person who genuinely saved the night.
We rolled in after a long stretch of driving, and check-in hit a snag right out of the gate. I'm not going to air out all the details, but it was one of those situations where you're standing at the desk tired, a little frustrated, and you start doing the mental math on whether you made the right call booking this place. Not a great feeling.
Then the night auditor stepped in — you know who you are, my friend, and yes, the glasses were absolutely on point — and just flipped the whole thing around. No runaround, no corporate brush-off, just a real person treating us like we actually mattered. Handled everything calmly, made it right, and by the time we were heading to the room I'd already forgotten why I'd been annoyed in the first place. That's not nothing. That's actually rare.
The property itself is solid — clean, comfortable, does exactly what a Fairfield is supposed to do when you're passing through the Hudson Valley area and just need a good night's rest without drama. Goshen is a pleasant little stop and this place fits it fine. My one honest ding is simply that the check-in hiccup happened at all — smooth arrival would've been the easy five.
But start to finish, once things got sorted, the stay exceeded expectations — and that's entirely down to one night auditor who treated two tired travelers like family. If you find yourself needing a stop in Goshen, this place will take care of you.”
“I haven't stayed at the hotel yet I am staying there on Sunday however I already had an issue on a mistake I made I can't remember the girl who helped me when I called at 11:00 p.m. but she was super friendly outgoing and for lack of a better word amazing she took very good notes and left everything for the manager Elizabeth who I called in the morning and was fully aware of what was going and had already completed my request you can hear the smile and her voice and her friendly outgoing persona has me so excited to stay at this hotel that I highly doubt they could ever do anything wrong at this point just because of the amazing customer service I will be a frequent customer”

“We reserved a room block at this hotel for our wedding. Kathryn, Jasmine and all the staff at the hotel were so welcoming and wonderful. They were all lovely to work with and we greatly appreciated their prompt responses leading up to our wedding weekend. We stayed in the suite & it was great - very comfortable and roomy enough for our party to get ready in. Our guests enjoyed their stay too, and we liked having the cozy space in the lobby to spend some time together throughout the weekend.”

I interacted with quite a few staff members during my stay and all of them were incredibly friendly and helpful. Any issues I had were remediated by them quickly.
The rooms were fine, taking off a star because there was a bit of a musty scent (the reviews citing cigarette smells are definitely onto something, but it wasn't overwhelming).
Breakfast was simple, but good and included in the standard rate.
Plenty of parking for the amount of rooms they had.
All in all, a very good value for your buck.”

“we loved our stay! the room was so clean and serviced twice a day (plus room in homemade treats and local goodies). The included breakfast is the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had (very generous portions and you can order as much as you want) fresh fruit, warm pastries, juice shots, specialty coffee drinks and such delicious entrees. All the bar snacks and are made in house fresh daily (potato chips and sesame toffee popcorn) and besides all of the delicious food the service is amazing and friendly! we are already planning our return!”
