They have such cute and unique children's book collection perfect for bedtime if you forgot a book or want to add a special one to your collection. We found a perfect book for our 5 year old and can't wait to add a message in the beginning about where we went and why it was a special book.”

“This is my favourite bookstore in Canada. I don't live in Gan, I get to visit maybe 2-3 times a year if I'm lucky, and I ALWAYS make a trip here. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the store is setup in a way that is very kid-forward (has an awesome display of new release books, graphic novels, puppets, wooden toys right at the front of the store).

This shop also features Canadian authors and creators prominently, it's really easy to find canLit here and it's really easy to get a human who can talk you through choices. Great variety, and easy to navigate the space.

The last thing I'll say that sets this place apart: the way people come in curious. I've noticed that people are coming here from all over the place to ask questions of the incredible staff here, and the staff listen attentively and share in the curiosity of their patrons.
