I'm having weird trouble for some reason with my postal service

I wasted 30 minutes of my time in this post office today, along with about 10 others. I arrived around 12:15, I was the fourth or third person in line. Once 12:45 hit the lady at the counter announced she was closing for break. She could have said it when we all started piling in.
