“I’m a newer car owner, and this was my first time getting a detail — Williamsburg Hand Wash & Auto Detailing has officially set the bar sky-high!
I called for a same-day appointment, and Kevin was incredibly kind and thorough in explaining all my options. When I arrived, I decided to upgrade from a basic wash to a full detail, and the team went above and beyond, even staying late so I wouldn’t have to come back another day. That alone earned my loyalty for life!
When I picked up my car, I was STUNNED — it looked better than when I bought it. Kevin patiently answered all my (many!) questions (most of which were unrelated to the detail service, and more about general car maintenance), walked me through everything they did, and shared great advice on how to keep it looking new.
As a woman new to car ownership, I really appreciated how honest, helpful, and welcoming everyone was. No upselling, no jargon. Just genuine service and amazing results. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending them to everyone I know.

“Car wash is good and reasonable prices, but they need to do better when drying they be leaving everything wet most of the time and the rubber mats needs to be wash with soap, water and dried well. Aside from that they will get inside the vehicle with their shoes wets and leave the stain on it. They need to stop rushing and do a better job. Everyone can wait for a good service”

A great team who got out some funky handprints on the exterior that would not come out in regular car washes or my own personal attempts. “I just went to Merlo's Auto Detailing this morning. I came in because another car dinged my door and some paint transferred from the other car over to mine. I didn't realize I was supposed to schedule an appointment. Despite not having an appointment, I was taken care of and the paint was removed quickly. Not only was the job 100% perfect, but also the service to take me in as a walk in (which he didn't have to) was amazing. I will definitely get my car detailed here in the future. “I've been washing my car here since they opened. I've had mostly good experiences. I've had 2 bad experiences lately. On the first occasion the entire left side(driver side) of the running board was covered in grease after I went through the wash. I had to make a second run to have it partially removed.
One week ago I was going through when heard a loud bang on the driver side. When I inspected I found that the Goulding was ripped out, clips broken.
My dealer told me it's going to run me 600 dollars to replace.
Mind you, this is a brand new vehicle, 2023 Pathfinder.
I'm very skeptical of some of the operators.
I have 2 subscriptions and I'm a very loyal customer.
I hope the management will address my concern”
