I have honestly not been to a butcher/ meat store like this before and had no idea what to order or how to order. The person that helped me gave me suggestions, toldMe his favorite, how to cook it, and then wrapped them so I could cook some and freeze some. After following his directions I will say the NY Strip I cooked was PERFECT and one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. He explained exactly what meats I should get and how I should cook them and at what temperature. He explained everything in a manner that I could understand. Not only that he gave me a few stuffed mushrooms for my first time purchase. The customer service is absolutely amazing here. Every time that I need to purchase meat I will not go anywhere but here. “We almost purchased a home in what was once a decayed and depressed Bay Shore in 1988. Wish we had because, like Patchogue, this sea side town is quite beautiful. As was, and still is, Bay Shore is a destination day trip or night venue so similar to Huntington!OUR destination for the best beef I ever tasted is curated and aged well under the careful and kind eyes of Frank, owner with beloved Maria. ( Their ground beef melts in your mouth!, homemade sausage for which to die. I am not a huge fan of meat.) Carnivores, listen up!Last holiday season, I was coming down with what turned out to be RSV. Thank G-d that Christina turned around an overnight order to ensure we had a roast chicken, mashed potatoes, and almond topped with olive -oil drizzled broccoli for the first night of Chanukah's meal!!! My husband made his GF. latkes, I opened the lids of applesauce and sour cream to top them off...a bottle of Kedem wine and voila! We happily spun our dreidels!Fast forward to last night. My husbandordered our "Grinch roast beast" for Christmas Eve dinner, picked up the delicious chicken sausage ring, cutlets.I did a supermarket sweep of salt-free mozzarella ball , jam, Baci chocolate, and amaretto cookies for our last night of Chanukah meal 5 minutes to 5 pm closing time. No rush, but we did as lovely Samantha and Giovanna needed to get home to their families. Our Italian infused Chanukah fete was good to go!I need to stay GF and Giovanna took the time to read the cookies's ingredients aloud to me as I never carry my readers! NO FLOUR, YEAH! Grabbed the magazine ,LIST. on the way out the door withour heavy bag of groceries. WE WERE NOT RUSHED. We cut back our use of Hello Fresh to deliver meals as the omicron virus has waned but still morphing! “WONDERFUL"butchers". Do not need to buy Big boxes of items. Meaning, you can buy smaller quantities that will last . The butchers are artists who cut/slice your purchase as requested. The Deli guy is fabulous. He knows his art. Helped me make the best! Philly cheese steak ever!! Clean!! No slippery floors. Fresh fruit & vegetables. Always.Helpful staff. Courteous. “The gentleman at the meat department are very nice. About 2 weeks ago, I asked about pork loin to make pulled pork and they didn't have much on display. Even though this person was extremely busy, I interrupted him nicely and he made me the most beautiful pork loin. I can't recall if it was 3 lbs but it was under $10!! The one I was going to choose was 5 lb. It had a lot of fat on it and it was $22 and it was lesser quality of pork. I wish I asked for his name. Because I wanted to thank him for his excellent service.”
