“What can I say about these guys that others haven't echoed? They know their stuff, are honest, courteous and have a much larger supply of higher quality lumber than any other big box store around. I needed to build a bigger deck with a combination of wood and TimberTech railings. Joe was patient and expertly helped us buy the right amount of wood and railings for the project based on our drawings. The deliveries were made as promised and were on time. Even when we needed additional materials, I was able to call in the order and pay over the phone. Start to finish, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. They have definitely added one more loyal customer to their obviously long ranks. We will be back!Thanks guys!”

“Really good hardware stores, are more than a nice-to-have, they're a necessity. Located on Main St, parking can be difficult at times but that's the biggest drawback. Goldberg's has just about every hardware necessity you could need; paint, tools, keys, wood glue, they got it all. Service is great as everyone working here is family and this actually cares about what they're doing. I didn't have any big questions when I was there, but I heard them helping others and they clearly know what they're talking about. Prices are reasonable.I'll take this any day over sorting through a gigantic warehouse of shit with people who don't want to be there. Local hardware stores are a godsend, and this is no exception.”

Super friendly and helpful staff and well stocked for a local hardware store. They carry most everything I need to complete all the odd jobs around the house. “Today I broke a pole that my wife uses to hang her laundry to dry.There were about 6 things on it when I broke it.This was about 4:55 PM.I too the pieces and jumped into my car and drove there.The lights were on but the hours sign said closed at 5 PM.The time was 5:04 PM.I banged on the door and someone opened it.They told that they were closed.I told them about the pole.They get a pole for me and I paid for it.THE IRVINGTON HARDWARE store is GREAT.I have used them many times in the past and always was happy.This time I WAS VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY HAPPY.They are a great store.I recommend them totally.”

“Herb Lack Paints is a Nyack family owned business. Joseph along with his wife and son are a fixture in the Village Nyack business district.. Don't be fooled by the Paints they have have a lot more than paints. They have a great supply of Benjamin Moore paint, and do custom blending as well. They also repair screens there, and any copy of a key they have made for us always works. Their inventory includes everything from Gorilla glue to snow shovels. The family is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend a visit.”
