Overall fantastic gas station, public bathrooms are clean, workers are fantastic. 0 complaints. The workers have never bothered to ask “why are you eating off the tire pump?” Thank you gulf, keep it up”
“I typically make an appointment when I take my car to B £ C but the other day a light came on in my car and I just happened to be driving by so I stopped in. I thought it was just a brake light I needed but then the young guy, Dan, noticed I hadn’t put on my new registration sticker and that I was due for an inspection! He was so enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. After replacing a small bulb and a screw for my license plate I was ready to go. It was so quick and convenient. All the attention to those details just made my life so much easier that day! Thank you”

“Excellent service all around. Very reliable. Pleasant to work with. Got the job done while making it easy. Naturally AAA is predictably bullet proof. Feel silly I called Volvo Roadside first. They assigned a tow to me who after one text went crickets, as in no show. Kind of a bummer when you believe they are going to show and simply don't. Not Armonk garage. They were parking as I arrived. In no time car was secured on flatbed and off! Your driver was great and I will remember AAA and Armonk Garage in the future as needs arise!”

“I went to have a CARSO inspection for my newly purchased CPO car. I won’t get into the waste of time that it is for a CPO car- that’s a silky insurance issue. BUT I will talk about the friendly and efficient service at BSC. I called this morning when I learned I needed this inspection (turns out I was overdue) and they got me in within 45 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and very efficient. The process took 20 minutes and they emailed the results to my insurance company. The place was clean and the minimart, although small had a good selection of sundries. From what I saw it seems they have Full service.”
“I helped bind insurance coverage for Dave’s repair shop in the mid 90s when he first started Rte 117 Auto Service Center. 30 years later, I came in to have my car’s emissions inspection. “My old Toyota Land Cruiser was running very very rough. I called around town (and some Norwalk shops) and nobody would look at it for 2 weeks, Some wouldn’t take it at all, and others wanted $250 diagnostic charge. Not so at New Canaan Gulf. Matt B, the mechanic now running the business, agreed to take it right away. He diagnosed the problem(s) quickly, solved my problems in 2 hours, and I had my car back by afternoon for a fair price. He rebuilt the 50!year old carb, tightened the belt, replaced the spark plugs which were foiled from running too rich. Highly recommend this shop. I’ve read the other reviews and none of the complaints relate to current ownership, fair pricing, or ability to solve the problem. I think negative reviews from people who want free roadside assistance, or who are unhappy with Advanced Auto Parts quality should be deleted. Thank you, Matt. You’re a credit to New Canaan”

“A great resource whilst traveling the 684 corridor. Ordered online -several sandwiches to go. Arrived earlier than anticipated - they were all packed up in appropriate wrappings nicely and ready to go. Under 30 second transactions in theses COVID times are much appreciated! In and out in seconds. Considering how many people were there milling about , it's apparent that this place is a well oiled machine. The veggie sandwich was flavorful and bursting. Chicken souvlaki was great with the tzatziki sauce. Chicken salad good, and chicken Caesar wrap ,delish. The HUMONGOUS chocolate chip cookies are more like mini cakes. Got them still warm. Yum.”

“Honest mechanic. A few months back I brought my car to them because I thought I needed new rotors but turned out I only needed brake pads. I've used them for a few issues in the past few years and they've always been reliable. Highly recommend.”

Although the gasoline is slightly more expensive, it's available to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The higher costs do not defray the owners' operating costs, which are higher than most merchants in and around town. The Mobil gas station is located conveniently in the center of the pedestrian town where four streets intersect at a convenient community parking lot. You'll find gourmet sandwiches and Christmas ornaments inside with heated restrooms for your convenience. Most anything you're looking for is available at this convenient downtown gas station just ask the friendly staff who are available at a moments notice to serve you while repairing your vehicle. “Went to get a simple car wash from the drive thru car wash to find that it’s been taken over by new owners and is a hand car wash! $25 for exterior (no tip on card). I told the guy I parked under a tree at work and got some weird sap-like substance all over my car and when washing my car he made sure that it was coming off with his power hose and car wash shampoo! Really great service, amazing clean, and you can stay in your car while they wash! Will definitely come back as long as the current people run it.”
