“Recently I was expecting a package that was out for delivery, but never arrived. When I called at 4:45 shortly before they closed, the staff was so helpful. They were able to locate the missing package and personally delivered it to my house by 5:15. I was impressed with the kindness of the staff member and commitment to making sure we received the package in a timely manner.”
“Ever since the nice lady left around 7 years ago they have had constant staff turn over. As of lately the lady working here has been amazing and I'm happy to be getting mail in a timely manner again. Any issues in the last few month has been on the post office as a whole and not the local branch ( if that's the right term).”

“Went to this location (as opposed to Middletown) to file a child’s passport application. The experience was seamless, efficient, and pleasant. Brittany was very knowledgeable and processed the paperwork quickly. She even recommended and took a new picture of my child since the one I had done at Walgreens did not meet regulation. It is rare to encounter someone who knows their job and is happy to do it. 10/10, highly recommend!”

“I don’t understand the negative reviews I see here about the mail delivery. The new carrier Jim is a nice guy that goes above and beyond to get the mail and packages to the residents even in the most harsh conditions. He’s a perfect example of what a postal worker should be . God bless this man !!!! Honestly he should be in charge of the operation”

“Wonderful little post office with Big, happy and top notch service, served with many smiles. Highly recommend using this Post Office, as Lisa makes sure you are absotively treated right. Packages sent out, stamps sold, rent a P.O. box for privacy and or secured receipt of your mail. Very pleasant experience for sure”

“The first post office I've been to where the employees (staff?) are SUPER helpful. If you have questions about anything in the area, they either know or will tell you how to find out.”

“I used to use the milford post office but they doubled their rates so I switched to the matamoras post office with the cheaper rate, I was hesitant only from reading Google reviews where everyone is complaining about this office and saying the workers are rude, I couldn't disagree more!! Everyone at this location has been nothing but beyond nice and helpful, like I'm kind of baffled by the other reviews because of my complete opposite experience, love this post office and the workers here everyone is so nice I'm glad I switched.”
“We finally have a postman that is courteous and operates his vehicle at a slow speed since we all have pets on Callahans rd.I believe his name is Mr. Harrington myself and several other neighbors want to thankyou”

“Limited street parking in front of the entrance. Adding to the frustration was watching a postal delivery person stop his delivery vehicle on the opposite side of the street, get out and check on his car which was parked ALL DAY on the street opposite the entrance to the post office. Could not determine if there was a parking lot behind the building.”
