“This place is honestly an addiction. Their meat is so much better than everywhere else. There are butchers all over Long Island but none of them are even in the same league. I Can’t recommend this place enough. They have specials almost daily and when they are legitimately giving you 2 additional meals every time you buy whaat you normally would anyway I’m not sure it’s possible to find a better deal. There is atleast 1 item we bought from C&C on our table every night. Even my dogs breakfast and dinner is bought at this store. I never leave reviews for anyone but this place is truly something special for anyone looking for the best quality meat.”

“Didn’t need a lot of food but ordered a half tray of chicken parm which is so basic and sold all over the place. Babylon meat market does it right!! Instead of piling chicken on chicken with cheese and sauce they lay it out on one large tray. Don’t know any places that do it like this. And they delivered a half tray only!! I have honestly not been to a butcher/ meat store like this before and had no idea what to order or how to order. The person that helped me gave me suggestions, toldMe his favorite, how to cook it, and then wrapped them so I could cook some and freeze some. After following his directions I will say the NY Strip I cooked was PERFECT and one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. “I have been going to Mathews Meats for probably 20 years. Moved from the neighborhood 3.5 years ago to Nassau and still go back. A family run business. The nicest people to deal with. If you don't see it ask! If you have a question....Ask! They will go out of their way to help you. Best Greek foods without having to go to Astoria! And the souvlaki's are to die for. “This supermarket has many of the typical offerings you would find at the larger brand named supermarkets but it also seems to also cater to hispanic items not typically found in the larger supermarkets. The prices are very very reasonable and it seems very well cared for and stocked. We dis not see any self check out and the 8 or so lines were staffed with employees that were very quick and polite. Everything appeared fresh in the vegetable , meats and the fish counter.”
“Every time I enter, I am welcomed with a smile, and the experience here is consistently exceptional. The ingredients are both fresh and imported. My preferred sandwich is the Hot Capicola with fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, olive oil, vinegar, and balsamic glaze; they execute it perfectly every time. The owner is always a pleasure to interact with. I concluded my meal with a delightful cup of espresso. Visiting Joe's spot is always a good decision, and you will never leave feeling disappointed.”

“What a wonderful store ?
The food is phenomenal! They even have a very specific style of sausage, Chevalatta, that my 94y.o. dad used to get all the time from Corona. It's a specialty and they had it! We got sausage filled with broccoli rabe, regular ring sausage, multiple types of taralli, and ravioli.
But what makes it completely worth driving across the county for me was the customer service! Kind, big smiles all around, just an absolutely delight to go there. I found them on a whim driving somewhere else.
I'll definitely be going back and bringing my Dad so he can reminisce as well as get more amazing food!

“WONDERFUL"butchers". Do not need to buy Big boxes of items. Meaning, you can buy smaller quantities that will last . The butchers are artists who cut/slice your purchase as requested. The Deli guy is fabulous. He knows his art. Helped me make the best! Philly cheese steak ever!! Clean!! No slippery floors. Fresh fruit & vegetables. Always.Helpful staff. Courteous. The managers are super. Do not forget the cashier staff. They are beyond great and genuinely niceNorthport is my store”

“The gentleman at the meat department are very nice. About 2 weeks ago, I asked about pork loin to make pulled pork and they didn't have much on display. Even though this person was extremely busy, I interrupted him nicely and he made me the most beautiful pork loin. I can't recall if it was 3 lbs but it was under $10!! The one I was going to choose was 5 lb. It had a lot of fat on it and it was $22 and it was lesser quality of pork. I wish I asked for his name. Because I wanted to thank him for his excellent service.”
