They always have specials on many items throughout the store. They have meat, deli, fish, bakery, and produce. Sorry if I've missed something. Go see for yourself. A fabulous experience.”

“Always the best of fresh food and sandwiches! Reasonably priced and great service! Patrick is so nice, accommodating and helpful in selections. Frank and Andy are always glad to see you. Their homemade fresh turkey sandwich is a delicious healthy pick and the Italian meats especially the prosuitto is amazing beyond words. Grilled chicken is very tender..chicken burgers are famous, rice balls, potato croquettes and veggies..my favorite is the prosuitto balls but call ahead as they are made to order. There is so many goodies to choose from. We also get cookies here for morning coffee. The bread is from Brooklyn ?? Check them out! ❤️???”

“I have never been to a butcher shop and this is the first time I have ever been to one. I met Joe the owner and he was fantastic. He explained exactly what meats I should get and how I should cook them and at what temperature. He explained everything in a manner that I could understand. Not only that he gave me a few stuffed mushrooms for my first time purchase. The customer service is absolutely amazing here. Every time that I need to purchase meat I will not go anywhere but here. We would be hard pressed to get the quality of food at any restaurant.Caesar salad with homemade croutons,Lobster Bisque (quart)Jumbo shrimp cocktail (side of small lobster tails)2 Filet Mignon (my wife added slices of Tony’s bacon)4 twice backed potato’sCream spinach (cheesy and delish)Grilled jumbo asparagus2 glass cups of tiramisu (or other choices)$140 we had 2 Meals out of it.The filet was the best part but everything was amazing!Tony’s is our goto for prepared food to heat and eat at home and for the tenderist of steaks. It’s worth it every time.”

“The people that work here could not be any nicer or more helpful. I came here because I was given a gift card for Christmas. I have honestly not been to a butcher/ meat store like this before and had no idea what to order or how to order. The person that helped me gave me suggestions, toldMe his favorite, how to cook it, and then wrapped them so I could cook some and freeze some. After following his directions I will say the NY Strip I cooked was PERFECT and one of the best pieces of meat I've ever had. I will definitely be back next time I need to get a high quality piece of meat!”
“Wound up finding this business on Google because they carry A5 waygu cuts. I wound up calling in and speaking to a nice gentleman who answered my questions. Wound up driving 30 miles the next day to pickup a waygu strip and prime aged and the owner and his son were super friendly. They thanked me for my business and taking the drive out to them as well. They understand how to treat people and offer great steaks!!!”

“I have been going to Mathews Meats for probably 20 years. Moved from the neighborhood 3.5 years ago to Nassau and still go back. A family run business. The nicest people to deal with. If you don't see it ask! If you have a question....Ask! They will go out of their way to help you. Best Greek foods without having to go to Astoria! And the souvlaki's are to die for. “WONDERFUL"butchers". Do not need to buy Big boxes of items. Meaning, you can buy smaller quantities that will last . The butchers are artists who cut/slice your purchase as requested. The Deli guy is fabulous. He knows his art. Helped me make the best! Philly cheese steak ever!! Clean!! No slippery floors. Fresh fruit & vegetables. Always.Helpful staff. Courteous. “Neighbors helping neighbors. Uncle Giuseppe's of Deer Park, you have championed that sentiment. When we called with a sense of urgency to place a last minute catering order for 50 very special people, Ivanna took on the challenge to fulfil 7 full trays of hot masterpieces, complete with bread and deserts. 25 minutes later, we were able to pick everything up, complete with utensils. Ivanna was not only compassionate to our needs but maintained a professional sense of confident calm that reassured us that "we can do this" She did not disappoint. Ivanna and Erica and the whole Uncle G"s team was on their A-Game and boy did they deliver. All hands were on deck and when they say it takes a village, we are proud and thankful that Uncle Giuseppe's is a part of ours. We wanted to take the time this morning to thank everyone who made last night successfully possible.”
“The gentleman at the meat department are very nice. About 2 weeks ago, I asked about pork loin to make pulled pork and they didn't have much on display. Even though this person was extremely busy, I interrupted him nicely and he made me the most beautiful pork loin. I can't recall if it was 3 lbs but it was under $10!! The one I was going to choose was 5 lb. It had a lot of fat on it and it was $22 and it was lesser quality of pork. I wish I asked for his name. Because I wanted to thank him for his excellent service.”

She recommended Gemelli, I've been to many Italian food places, however this one was over the top,I loved their selection and the service was great, and the food was very good.
