Service was great- the tram member took me to where my requested item was. The store was well organized. I enjoy shopping here. The overhead messages encouraged us to buy food and coats for those who need them, and on return we could spend the same amount on other items for ourselves.”

“I am absolutely obsessed with shopping at TJ Maxx.They genuinely have so many useful items.Every visit feels like a treasure hunt.
Their selection for gifting is top tier. I particularly love the gift combo,specifically those adorable sets that come with a mug, chocolate, and cute teddy bear. Their tumbler collection is also fantastic.
find some truly unique jewelry pieces there. Loves those lockets with letters, perfect for personalizing a gift for a name's initial. Also love the cute handbag charms and found beautiful embroidered shawl that was a total steal. For winter, their hand gloves and caps are comfy and reasonably priced.Kids' items are incredibly cute and hard to resist.The stationary items are also surprisingly aesthetic and great for stocking up on supplies. I was even amazed to find unique treats like Baklava and peanut bars in their food section!
The variety of cards, board games, and puzzles is extensive.
Overall, TJ Maxx offers an amazing array of items from home decor and self-care essentials to unique snacks and cozy winter gear all at reasonable prices. Now it’s definitely my happy place to shop.”
“The owner of the store gives super good customer service, I ended up buying a really high-quality jacket there at a great price. I would definitely recommend this store if you are in Albany and looking for an army navy store. They have a lot of clothing and also knives and some other accessories but I did not get a full chance to look around the store so there’s probably a lot that I did not even see. It’s not a huge place but it’s very conveniently located and definitely worth checking out.”
“Love to visit this location most of the time. One thing that is consistent is the way William jumps through hoops to personally help customers. I have been the recipient of his assistance on several occasions. This last time, today, Sunday August 3, 2025, he maintained his great customer service even as his supervisor/manager spoke unprofessionally and unkindly to him. “I went into this location, and it was clean and fully stocked and well merchandised. Well, there’s a first time for everything! I have NEVER seen a Five Below that was not a total mess before today. Plus the employees greeted us, and were very helpful! All thanks to the manager, a young woman who apparently takes pride in her work, and really knows her stuff!”
“It's almost Christmas season, folks! Remember that the dollar general will slave their managers on salary. If you shop here during the season please be kind, and remember that they aren't allowed a budget for employee coverage. You're speaking rudely to someone on low salary who's trying their absolute best to make everything happen with minimal help. “Fun, clean, good flow, many products are $5 and $4 dollars. Really have to watch the prices. Products never stick around long. When they're in the front seasonal section on the right and only a few are left, they either get moved to the back or on a table in the front, on the left at a discount price. They also have separate standing racks that are separate vendors. Not affiliated as a five below product. They are a vendor product. Will vary per store. Be careful on the purchase.”

“This Dollar Tree is THE BEST DOLLAR TREE in the area BY FAR. They always have everything in stock, the shelves are always full, the store is always clean and the staff is amazing. The cashiers are friendly and the managers are always nice and greet you with a smile. The female manager has fantastic customer service skills and is always eager to make your shopping experience a good one. Five stars isn't enough. Great job Colonie Dollar Tree!”

“I’ve been coming here for about half of a year now and I gotta say that everything I’ve purchased I’ve been satisfied with, from duct tape that’s stronger than gorilla glue for only $22 for eight rolls, to socks that are High hand running sucks that would otherwise sell for $10 a pair, I got here for I think eight pairs for $10 I think. The gentleman runs the store is extremely helpful and kind guy. Family run store. I highly recommend the flashlight on account that I’ve dropped it over 20 times and it’s still works. I would call it a higher and variety store with discounts that are better than most discount stores.

“Overall, not a bad experience. Aisles a little cluttered. A few U-boats of merchandise around the store, unattended - they should be back in the stock room if no one is unloading them, to make room for the customers. I found everything I needed and then some. Friendly guy at register, although did not have a Dollar General uniform or nametag on (3/14/26 around 3 - 4 PM).”

“The location is a bigger one than I'm used to and it makes a big difference. Things looked way more organized and stocked than other family dollars I have been in. They still have boats and boxes in a few place that blocked the shelves but overall a much better experience that most family dollars.”
