“This Valvoline is by far the most friendly one I’ve been too. From the pleasant greeting on the phone to the frantic in person interaction. Not just one of the employees but all of them. The manager Maria is amazing and explained everything in detail prior to performing work and was extremely pleasant and smile throughout the entire visit. Customer service like this is hard to find but at this Valvoline it’s second nature and you truly feel the customer comes first. Week done to you and your team Maria.”
“I needed to get my tires installed asap and I had no hope with local places. When I called they were able to take me asap and even gave me the 10% discount through Yelp. It was an hour wait but they gave me the tires back and wrapped in plastic. Great service. Only downfall is the waiting room is very hot and I wish they had fans or offered cold waters during the wait. It would def make the wait more desirable.”
“Engine light was on for over a year. I had to go back to the BMW dealership 6 times and the light kept coming back so I tried Whalen since a friend said they were amazing. The light hasn't been back since I got my car back, I almost forgot what it was like to drive without it staring at me. Donna was amazing and she offered so much help and explained everything clearly. Everything was written down on the invoice. “I had a great experience working with these folks to get my transmission replaced. They answered all of my questions (without being patronizing) including letting me know that I had some time before I needed to get the repair done, they offered a range of pricing options for used transmissions, and they took care of the work promptly when I did bring my car in to get it done. I felt like they went above and beyond at each step. I hope I don’t have any more transmission problems so I’d rather not go back myself :) but I’d recommend them to anyone else needing work done!”
“Our truck broke down. We had to have it towed. I don’t live in that area so I just picked a place to have it towed to. Chuck called me the next day and told me that it would be a little bit before he could work on my truck because they were so Backed up but a couple days later he called me and told me what was wrong with my truck and told me that he could fix it the next day. We were so thankful that he did that for us so fast I couldn’t have asked for a better customer service and his wife Deb was just as nice. I would recommend this place to anyone you don’t find customer service like that anymore very often. So thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and a fast turnaround.Mr and Mrs Olechowski”

He goes above and beyond in whatever he does, double checking everything before he lets you leave. “These gentlemen did a fabulous job!!! I'm very happy with my services I need a new oil and they told me that I needed new windshield wipers because of mine were torn they did a great job in inspecting my car and letting me know what I needed. There are fast and efficient. Bonus they gave me a free car wash I would definitely go back to them again and I think them gentlemen for their time I do appreciate it”
“My new Frontier died and was off the road for a month due to some issue with a part that went bad. Required multiple reorders. Under warranty so the team gave me a brand new rental Rogue off the lot, and communicated regularly over an entire month. All in all it was fixed. Would’ve been faster if the factory had its side of things together. Solid service center all around as always. Chad is the man.”

“On X-Mas eve, my husband and I had an incident with his truck while driving through latham, and the transmission fluid leaked out. I steered while my husband pushed, and a woman jumped out of her vehicle in a dress and immediately helped push as well! We got the truck to the edge of this Valvoline's parking lot, got our flashlights out and began seeing what the issue was. Easy fix, that we can do ourselves. Two employees were finishing closing up shop for the night and came over to help us, Paulie (Pauly?) and Matty I think their names were. Their help and kindness got us enough transmission fluid to get down the road to the auto store and buy the rest of what we needed. It was all a simple thing that happened quickly, but three complete strangers stepped up without question and helped us. It was freezing out too, so really, thank you both and the woman who sprung into action to help push the truck. It speaks to the character of each of them. I hope you all have a good 2024!”

“The manager, April, is always very nice and not as “pushy” as some of the other employees with trying to upsell services. While I know corporate probably has a set of service goals they “encourage” their employees to try force on customers, she’s always trying to explain why it should be done and if it can’t get done right away what you as a customer can do until you feel comfortable getting the service done. Honest mechanics are hard to come by, so when you find one you try and stay with them. As long as she’s at this location, I’ll keep bringing my car to her and her team and will continue to recommend this location to friends and family.”
“First time here and had an incredible experience! My brake lights were suddenly out so I called ahead to make sure they had the bulbs in stock (corporate customer service was very helpful).. They don't take appointments so I was nervous I would be waiting for hours or it would cost a ton, but it was a breeze from the moment I drove up!.. They greeted me outside, directed me to the correct door and were replacing the lights within 2 minutes. I never had to leave my car. The total cost was extremely reasonable and exactly what they quoted me when I called ahead (under $40 TOTAL for two lights). The techs were super nice and very professional. Thank you Tommy and Shawn! You saved me a lot stress during the holidays.”
