“This location is always friendly and welcoming! Great selection of dog supplies/food/treats. Staff always pay attention to my 3 dogs. Today, my Pekingese chose a new ball from the toy aisle and proceeded to push/kick it all over the store. (great fun on a rainy day with no other dogs in the store) The staff was all playing with him and helping him retrieve his new ball when it got stuck. I only wish I would have thought to take a video!In addition, this store has been extremely generous over the years as we did fundraising for the creation (and now for the maintenance) of Lancaster Unleashed/Como Lake Bark Park. 2 paws up!”

“I love coming to this location my dog has a skin issue right now so I have to bath him twice a week and their bath area is all ways clean and the bath prices aren't bad, I wish other locations were that clean and nice. And even with the maybe 2 times I have been unhappy about something, they always go above and beyond to make sure it is corrected. “I took my dog to the Orchard Park location for a bath and haircut. I had been putting this off because the last time I took him to a locally owned place, I felt so uncomfortable leaving him, I sat in the parking lot (cried) and waited there for over 2 hours until he was ready. After, he looked traumatized and I felt horrible. Well I decided to try Petsmart and did the express service so he was done quicker. The appointment was with Brittney D. From the moment I walked in, I immediately felt comfortable with her. She was so sweet to my dog, and reassured me he would be fine when I mentioned I felt bad leaving him. I left and didn’t cry, which surprised me, and didn’t feel the need to sit in the parking lot! When I picked him up, he was so happy and didn’t look upset or traumatized at all!!! I was so happy, and he looked and smelled incredible!! She did an amazing job on his hair cut. I am so so happy I decided to bring my dog here. We will definitely be repeat customers with Britt!!!”

“The customer service at the Petco in Williamsville and the Petco in Amherst is outstanding :-) I cannot say enough good things about it. This afternoon I called the Williamsville location to see if the loaches I was waiting for were in stock - Melissa in the aquarium department was so pleasant and helpful on the phone, even as the store was clearly very busy. I stopped in the store after work during rush hour and Melissa was again just above and beyond helpful. I had just missed a 50% off aquarium sale - but she let me know approximately when I can look out for the next 50% off sale - so I will not miss it this time. Melissa also took quite a bit of her time to discuss 2 of my aquarium set-ups (I have 10 aquariums and I always appreciate advice and tips as I am learning). She is very knowledgeable. I have a lot of bettas and cichlids - and we were discussing caves and hiding spots. She recommended trying out hamster/guinea pig plastic tubes as another affordable option, on top of the rocks/driftwood/caves I already have. What a great idea! As long as I have been into aquariums - that had never even occurred to me. Thank you, Melissa :-) My African Dwarf Frogs especially love the plastic tunnels/tubes I added to their tank. I added them to 3 of my other tanks and the loaches, bettas, and cichlids love the new hiding spots as well. In addition- Petco has an awesome aquarium plant selection! A lot of the staff at Petco have multiple pets - as do I - and it is always a fun experience to talk with employees at Petco who are as passionate about their pets as I am. I had a great conversation with the girl at the check-out this evening as well. I was buying a gecko screen cage along with my aquarium supplies - and she also had recently added a gecko to her pet family - so we discussed what we had learned so far, tips on holding geckos when they are young, and so on. Also - they matched the online price for me when I bought the cage, since I wanted to see it in the store before I decided to buy it. Everyone who works at this Petco is just so friendly and helpful - and there is always a manager nearby for additional or complicated questions. This goes for the Amherst location as well. I visit both locations frequently, and would recommend shopping at both of them for any of your pet needs.”
