“We had a flat that needed to repair. We drove to 6 different tire shops that either said no to patching or would take more than 2 hours to patch. When we came to their shop, they took care of me right away without upselling me for a new tire. The plug they used allowed us to go home right away. I would highly recommend this shop for any future repairs.”

“I love Big 4! Wish I knew about it sooner. They are a full-service garage rather than another tires-only chain. Lots of repair bays. Service writers are lovely gentlemen. Technicians surface issues that you might have been unaware of, but there is never any pressure to complete additional work right away. (They do make suggestions on timing of repairs based on vehicle safety.) Recommendations are saved so you can call for an appointment later and they'll have all the info at their fingertips. They explain stuff thoroughly. I'm no automotive expert, but I get a good honest vibe. Waiting room is comfy. I got some work done there with their WiFi.”

149 Midler Park Drive, Syracuse NY 13206
“Wow, did these guys ever save us. We were passing through town, halfway to our New England destination and went through a bad storm, which fried some of our car's components. We rolled up to Big 4 about thirty minutes before closing, and thankfully, they took our car in. They were calm, helpful and reassuring... Answering our many questions as they worked through the diagnostics. They definitely went the extra mile for us out-of-towners, to get our car working ASAP and to make the whole thing as painless as possible. We dealt mostly with Joel, Fred and Sam and they were all amazing!”

“I have been a customer for Ron, Bill, Jeremy, and Brad for over 30 years with a reference from my father and Ron’s brother in law. This is the place to go. I will be Jeremy’s last customer if it so happened that way. It’s the no bull business to hear from and the old school way of shaking hands and making it right the first time or the second time if experience was had. These guys are the four horsemen. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a mechanic. Thanks to Ron for starting this shop and continuing it for his son and for all of his customers. If shop closed up, I would lease my winter beater after that fateful day. Because I don’t want to deal with the over priced redirect .”

“Walt’s Automotive Service truly saved the day for me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the level of professionalism, honesty, and skill this shop showed from start to finish. It’s not easy finding a mechanic you can trust, especially when you’re dealing with unexpected car trouble, but Walt and his team proved immediately that they take their work — and their customers — seriously. I came in with an electrical issue that had completely thrown off my vehicle. Other places had given me guesses, rough ideas, or long wait times, but Walt diagnosed the problem quickly, explained everything clearly, and didn’t try to upsell or scare me into unnecessary repairs. He found the exact issue, fixed it efficiently, and had me back on the road faster than I ever expected. The honesty alone deserves five stars, but the quality of the repair made it even better. The shop itself is clean, organized, and run by people who actually care about what they’re doing. You can tell Walt takes pride in his work and treats every customer like a real person, not a paycheck. The communication was excellent, the pricing was fair, and the peace of mind was priceless. If you need reliable automotive service from someone who truly knows what they’re doing, look no further. Walt’s Automotive Service is the place you want in your corner when your car decides to give you trouble. They definitely earned this five-star review.”

“We had a tire emergency on a trip and we couldn't have been more pleased with the customer service and repair. Our tire was losing pressure quickly. Brandon went over and above to our needs and got us back on the road very quickly. While the repair was being done, we were informed every step of the way on the progress. We were quite impressed overall. Kudos to the service team at Goodyear.”

“Excellent service from the Manger David Chapman and the team. I dropped by without an appointment for a problem with my daughter's tire's. Even though the shop was incredibly busy with major repairs, [David Chapman] managed the workflow perfectly, kept me updated on the timeline, and got me back on the road in under an hour. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND whe HE DIDN'T have too... I'm just entirely IMPRESSED. I've never been treated that good at any, Mechanical service place.( Even talked to his repeated customers that come from far away because they like David Chapman so much😊) I will say this: The Monroe in North Syracuse will be my forever go-to place. And I will be passing it along as well. So thank you, David Chapman and your team, for going above and beyond...Five stars, hands down......”
