“What a cute and cozy place! We were in the Sleepy Hollow area for some fall activities and we spent our two mornings here at this café. The employees are very friendly and the drink/bakery items were great. The interior has a lovely array of art and overall I'd recommend that you stop in if you are in the area!”

“We visited the home and studio of Edward Hopper (1882-1967), a painter who always gives us mysterious feelings and emotions whenever we look at his work. In each of his paintings, you feel a ‘gloomy, lonely, and desolate atmosphere.’ In oriental paintings, this is expressed as “the beauty of blank space,” and similarly, Hopper feels the blank space as “loneliness, emptiness, and transience.””

“Liana and Bill are so nice and do a great job too - Liana will spend time to look at your mood board/finish samples/room photos and listen to your inspiration ideas to curate and show samples to help you narrow down what you want. They’ve also allowed me to borrow samples to view in the space itself which really helps. They educate me on the cost of various materials and give estimates. I’ve been very happy with the end results too.”
“Came in needing a few custom mats for a quick project, and they measured my frame and my art, and knocked it out while I waited. Fast and professional! Thanks a lot!”
“My daughter has taken many classes here, maga, ceramics, drawing and she loves it. Instructors are great teachers and talented artists. The grounds are beautiful too. Check out the class offerings. Also, the Catherine Konner Sculpture Park changes the outdoor exhibits periodically.”
“I've been going to Claude Gallery frames for years. Always accommodating, knowledgeable staff that provides the best advice for what you're trying to accomplish and the finished product always blows me away. If I could give a million stars I would.”

“Manuel has framed three items for us and each time he has done an excellent job. He has good ideas and has been helpful in getting the right frames and colors for our pieces. And, his prices are comparatively reasonable.”
“The Blue Door Art Center is for me a uniquely welcoming arts community providing artistic connections in a nurturing atmosphere of openness and inspiration. Artists of all levels and media participate in "almost monthly" themed exhibitions. The art center also holds frequent free classes for kids and various interactive events. If you want a supportive place to meet other artists and work on your craft, visit, participate, join!”
“My daughter has been going to one river for over a year now and she loves it. The teachers are great and talented. A place with a very good atmosphere and selection of courses !”
“Broke the glass on my McKnight lithograph. The litho is only worth $400, so didn't want to break the bank getting new glass put in. Called the art shop in downtown White Plains and called Larchmont Art to get an indication of price. Everybody says the place in White Plains is expensive for framing work which is consistent with the price I was given. Spoke to Bill at Larchmont Art over the phone, and not only was the price better, but Bill was friendly and forthcoming. I knew I wanted museum glass because I hang this piece in a sunny room. I drove my piece to the shop, where they were polite and friendly. They pointed out that I didn't have acid free backing behind my print, and replaced it for me, put new paper on the back of my frame to seal it, and even added a couple of rubber bumpers on the back to keep the frame from rubbing the wall. The job was done on one day, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.”
“This is one of the best galleries in the Hudson Valley. All member owned and operated, Piermont Flywheel Gallery has a great variety of painters, photographers, and collage artists.”
“Hello,

They made a very good impression”
“Mamaroneck Artist Guild has a new space! A small, beautiful gallery on Palmer Ave. The annual high school student exhibition is an example of the guilds commitment to the community BUT they offer exhibitions of diverse art - from shows of individual guild members to group exhibits that all demonstrate the diversity of creative expression in the visual arts in the larger Mamaroneck community.”
“The Art School at Old Church offered such a unique experience for me. My instructor Naho took such joy in teaching me how to make Jewelry, a beginner who knew nothing. Naho and the school turned my venture into Jewelry, a fire, metal, brass, copper, hammer, saw, and fire into an incredible experience. The acclaimed artists and educators make the school unique. Thank you, Naho.”
“My family LOVES One River. All the classes re helpful, and they help us feel more confident. The ideas are creative, and the instructors always take the time to help us improve our skills. Even if you don't particularly enjoy art, I guarantee you will love this art school.”
“I guess there is a reason why I have been coming here for nearly 20 years. I actually look forward to my next picture that needs to be framed because I know the job Andy at Elegant Poster does is the best!”
