βDropped by this local hardware store on a mission: fix the BBQ machine before the hunger turns hangry.
Had zero clue what connector thingy I needed. Walked in looking like a confused potato.
Staff didnβt judge. Instead, explained every part I pointed at like a grill guru with a PhD in propane science. Even taught me the difference between a regulator and a thingamajig (technical term, obviously).
Got the right part. BBQ now works. I now feel 12% handier.β

βLooking for great deals on tools? This is the place. Particularly, good for hand tools and stuff were precision is not required. As Harbor Freight goes this is a new, clean and well run location.
Update: this looks like a successful location. Well stocked, clean and the staff seems to actually know where things are located.β

βYou really can't beat the service here. Sure, the store seems a little packed in but all you need is to ask an associate and they bring you right to the product you are looking for. I have never gone here and heard, "sorry, we don't have that" because the carry everything you need for home projects and repairs. 6 out of 5 stars.β

βThis retail store chain carrying a wide range of tools, hardware & other products for the home, garden & car. I come here a couple times a month to get tools or hardware that's whatever for project I'm on . Predator 212/224 ,air compressor, hydraulic jacks or maybe even just a spray of lube. βThe best hardware store there is. I've always loved it but the fact that they rescued three cats from the SPCA shows just what wonderful people run that place. Can't beat it!β

βWent here to have keys made. Great service , the keys were made by a Pro, not a kid who doesn't know what he is doing. They worked perfectly, no come backs. Seems like very convenient Hardware store stocked with all your immediate needs for home repairs, etc. no need for Home Depot trips searching for services. Highly recommended!β

βSince moving to Colonial Heights, this has been my go to hardware store. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is very hard to find in today's world. They offer real solutions and options to problems and support their customers by walking them through the process of repair. Their prices are also great value. I hope this helps someone like this business has helped me and my family.β
βGreat local hardware store alternative to the big box retailers. I go here for anything specialized or Benjamin Moore paint, which you can't get at the big retailers. Staff is helpful and nice. Open on Sundays.β

βReally good hardware stores, are more than a nice-to-have, they're a necessity. Located on Main St, parking can be difficult at times but that's the biggest drawback. Goldberg's has just about every hardware necessity you could need; paint, tools, keys, wood glue, they got it all. Service is great as everyone working here is family and this actually cares about what they're doing. I didn't have any big questions when I was there, but I heard them helping others and they clearly know what they're talking about. Prices are reasonable.I'll take this any day over sorting through a gigantic warehouse of shit with people who don't want to be there. Local hardware stores are a godsend, and this is no exception.β

βPROS: The guy in the store is very nice and his selection is organized while the store itself is clean. Good size parking lot next to his place as well. prices are all competitive which makes this place a good go-to for basic needs CONS: The selection size is not as big as other hardware stores; Ace, true value, and obviously big box stores like Home depot OVERALL: If you're looking for a simple hardware store this is the place to come to. I don't expect them to be as big as the Home Depot, but for basic needs they're goodβ

βEverything you need in a pinch and with great service...we love our neighborhood hardware store and try to soley shop here for our home improvement needs. Aside from paint and tools we also get lawn leaf bags, screws and keys made.β
βI had a really good experience at this hardware store. I stopped in looking for a specific part for my faucet, and Oliver helped me out. Even though they didnβt end up having the exact piece I needed, he was patient, took the time to check options, and was genuinely willing to help.
The store itself is well organized and easy to navigate, which made it simple to pick up a few other household items I needed while I was there.

βNever in my life would I think Iβd leave a hardware review but here I am! My husband needed a brass cleaner on a Saturday afternoon around the time most hardware stores are closed. We found this one was still opened and called to make sure it actually was since we had just tried going over to another one that was supposed to be open according to Google and it wasnβt. To avoid another pointless trip I called this one before we headed there and a lovely gentleman by the name of Jose answered and literally gave us the best customer service experience that is hard to come by these days! He said they had the cleaner in stock and asked if weβd like for him to have it ready for us at the counter which we happily agreed to. He called us back a minute later to let us know that it was actually out of stock and that to please excuse him. Like, what?! So nice of him to do! Thank you Jose!β
