“The people working here are super friendly and helpful.I needed to get some plywood for a DIY project and had 0 clue as to the differences between the different types. I called them up and told the employee that picked up what I was looking to build - he took the time to explain what would be best for my setup as well as why.Also I ended up doing delivery since I couldn't fit the plywood in my SUV. There was a mix up with the address (my fault for not double checking paperwork). Thankfully, instead of just going back to the store, they kept calling me until they were finally able to reach me (because of course my phone was on silent - I only happened to see my phone on their fourth attempt). The driver/delivery person was also very friendly (do you see a theme here with friendly employees :) - he unloaded the plywood to where I asked for it to be placed.Pricing is also at least on par, if not better, than what you would find at the "big name" brands.Between the great pricing and excellent customer service, I will definitely come back here for any future lumber needs.”

“Herb Lack Paints is a Nyack family owned business. Joseph along with his wife and son are a fixture in the Village Nyack business district.. Don't be fooled by the Paints they have have a lot more than paints. They have a great supply of Benjamin Moore paint, and do custom blending as well. They also repair screens there, and any copy of a key they have made for us always works. Their inventory includes everything from Gorilla glue to snow shovels. The family is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend a visit.”

Upon entering VPS, I was greeted by the owner, Danny, and he gave me the skinny on every type of finish and every color category. Danny respected that I knew the exact colors I wanted as soon as I walked in the door, and for the next several weeks I returned again and again to collect more paint, as well as more tools! Each visit I was taken care of by either Danny or Skip and they couldn't have made my painting journey any more enjoyable!
