“Great to find an experienced glass pro nearby. Dave expertly created three glass tabletops for me (two rectangles and a circle). He’s pleasant and efficient — five stars!”

“The BEST place to get your paint & supplies. They are so sweet, as accommodating & helpful as they can possibly be, they really know their stuff in & out, top quality in anything you’re looking for, amazing prices, also, feels so good to support local small business. Joe is who always helps my Father & I and is such a pleasure. Everyone there is always eager to help & bring all heavy stuff out to the car for you. I can go on & on. Thank you Skaller!!!!”
“Preston was informative and very helpful. He made my shopping experience easier by helping me put together things I needed for my project. I would shop here again.”
“Since moving to Colonial Heights, this has been my go to hardware store. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is very hard to find in today's world. They offer real solutions and options to problems and support their customers by walking them through the process of repair. Their prices are also great value. I hope this helps someone like this business has helped me and my family.”
“Great local hardware store alternative to the big box retailers. I go here for anything specialized or Benjamin Moore paint, which you can't get at the big retailers. Staff is helpful and nice. Open on Sundays.”
“Never in my life would I think I’d leave a hardware review but here I am! My husband needed a brass cleaner on a Saturday afternoon around the time most hardware stores are closed. We found this one was still opened and called to make sure it actually was since we had just tried going over to another one that was supposed to be open according to Google and it wasn’t. To avoid another pointless trip I called this one before we headed there and a lovely gentleman by the name of Jose answered and literally gave us the best customer service experience that is hard to come by these days! He said they had the cleaner in stock and asked if we’d like for him to have it ready for us at the counter which we happily agreed to. He called us back a minute later to let us know that it was actually out of stock and that to please excuse him. Like, what?! So nice of him to do! Thank you Jose!”

“I needed to get some paint and stopped in to Village Pain on a whim. Bobby was so nice. I was trying to get the perfect gray. He patiently listened to me explain exactly what I wanted. He showed me several different chips and after an hour we found it! My family room is warm and inviting - Thanks Bobby and Village Paint for your patience.”

“My name is Dan and I am the general manager of Brush House. I have been going all over North Jersey to every single Ricciardi store. There are many are good ones and some have amazing staff but this one is absolutely the best one by FAR for ME. Tarik and his staff always greet me immediately and help me in every way possible. They always answer the phone immediately no matter how busy they are and I am so happy that this store is the closest one to my home. I will always know that I can be helped here in every way possible. Proud to be a customer.”
“I was at this store for the first time today needing to buy around 30 gallons of paint for a project. Stanley was extremely helpful and hooked it up. Service was really quick and way better than big box stores. Thank you!”

“Amazing and very knowledgeable staff. I have family and friends who have spoken highly of Rachel and her expertise and great personality easy to talk to, and also the quality of the material is great. You pay for what you are getting, which is great quality for the price!. Also, Rick the installment, gentleman is great at his job. Thank you for making beautiful work. My family and Friends windows look beautiful!!”
“Really great neighborhood hardware store that seems to always have exactly what I need. Prices are super competitive too. Staff are super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.”
“Pros: selection, service, location Cons: pricey, parking, small showroom This place seems to be popular with professional contractors. Not the friendliest service but very knowledgeable.”
“We have been shopping at Wallauer’s in Eastchester for a long time. They have a wonderful array of products. But what makes it extra special is the attention we get from Jackie in the decorating section of the store.
She is very knowledgeable and is always sensitive to our needs.
We can highly recommend her.”
“The best hardware store there is. I've always loved it but the fact that they rescued three cats from the SPCA shows just what wonderful people run that place. Can't beat it!”
“Try this at Home Depot: I went over to Rockland county, New York, to help an 86 year old lady friend install a new mailbox. It sounds easier than it is, as hers was attached to 2 metal pipes, sitting in between other mailboxes. Rusty bolts and all that. Just getting the ancient one off was a task. After planning and measuring, we went to a neighborhood hardware store and bought a mailbox, but it turned out that they did not sell the wood we needed for the base. So we went to Beckerle in Congers. The man behind the counter treated my friend so kindly. He went to the back and found an old scrap piece of wood that fit under the mailbox. Plus, he helped me source the big screws and washers. He spent good long time with us to assure that we had what we needed, patiently and extraordinarily helpful. All that for $1.98. It was good old-fashioned service with a smile. I was impressed that there are still stores like this where customer service is top level, even if the actual profit is virtually zero. This place is the best of the best. Shop there!”
“I visited this store last week Saturday and it was a great experience. The gentleman who assisted me was very helpful and got me everything I needed. Will definitely be returning.”
“I had a great experience purchasing paint from this Sherwin Williams store in Eastchester. Staff was friendly, inviting, and informative. Store was also very clean and organized. Will return for all my paint needs.”
“Great sale on miracle grow soil. Friendly and helpful service. Appreciate the honesty and trustworthy feel of a small town hardware store, i hope they never close their doors!”
“Getting the yard and house ready for summer activities. Graduation, Prom, BBQ's. They cleaned my grill a few weeks ago and I inquired about additional work. They power washed my patio, furniture and now repairing and painting trim on my home. It is so hard to find good honest people in the repair industry. These guys are amazing! Thanks to the CPH team!”

“It was right before closing time 5/28/24 and I had gotten a work order from a client (a very high end one at that) and needed a specific paint for a job early the next morning on Thursday. I called to see if they had what I needed and they did, I rushed over and the salesperson (forgot his name ??♂️) greeted me, quickly but patiently helped me and resolved an issue I was having on exactly which paint match I needed. Just a satisfying experience to be able to deal with a business that cares and is prepared to help. Highly recommended and the quality of product and service is very high! Glory to God through Jesus Christ the Lord ?!”
“I stopped by Wallauer’s in New Rochelle yesterday and had such a great experience. Dilan and Josh were amazing, they really went out of their way to help me and made everything super easy. Both of them are so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store itself is always stocked with everything I need, which makes shopping here a pleasure. Congrats to the whole team for the great service, I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“I don't think I will ever choose a paint color again without first consulting with Rob. The man is literally a color genius. He will look at your sample and in seconds whip out these color books and select perfect matches. There are literally thousands of nuanced shades of every color, barely discernible to you or me, but he knows each one of them like their his child. Go to eagle paint. Ask for Rob (call in advance, don't go in the AM when contractors go). The man is a genius.”

“I have been shopping at KRB for years at this location, and the prior location. It is a local family business and It pretty much has all of the things you could have purchased at Brewers before they shut down.
I fully understand why all the contractors love this place - it has most of what you need, the prices beat the big box stores, you can get in and out quickly and the store is very well organized.
If you are doing any kind of repair to your home, they likely have what you need. For any kind of painting project, they pretty much have everything you would find in a paint store, but cheaper They also have every cleaning supply you can imagine, including the commercial stuff.
The staff has always been friendly and helpful with advice when I need it.”
“Been here a few times to get paint for woodworking projects. It's not a huge store, but they have a wide selection of paints. The staff has always been friendly and helpful getting me what I need. I go here instead of the big box stores because the service is better and it's much faster to get what you need and get out.”
“Not sure what I’d do without this store and the helpful, all-knowing team of people inside. They have everything you need for any home project, big or small. Their prices are fair, and while they may be slightly more expensive than the big chains, it is worth it for the convenience, the incomparable customer service, and the joy of knowing you are supporting a locally owned small business.”
