“Came here in January-ish to get a shovel for the snow storm. Wasn't able to get the better ones but the guy showed me the detachable one that has a steel ice pick attachment. Even though the shoveling peice was plastic, the steel ice breaker made up for it”

“I was referred to Dennis at Allen Carpet in Yonkers, NY by a friend who was helping me during a very stressful move into a new apartment. The new apartment desperately needed new carpeting in the bedroom before I could move in. I got the OK from the landlord to pick out new ones. From my initial call to Allen Carpet, Dennis was so helpful, assertive and knowledgeable. Within 48 hours, Dennis was at the new apartment taking measurements and I was sampling and picking out the new carpet at the store the same day! The new rugs were installed three days later! They arrived on time, installed new carpet, vacuumed, cleaned up and even neatly put out old carpet to be picked up by sanitation. Something that could've easily been a stressful process was done with such seamless ease thanks to Dennis and his team at Allen Carpet, Yonkers. I am loving my new carpets and highly recommend!”

I have been to other lumber stores, as well as big box ones and Torre Lumber prices are competitive and fair. The employees are patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. I think maybe these guys just love their jobs because they are never dismissive or abrupt. Absolutely never. And I'm talking about the guys inside AND outside. The customer service is superb! I am remodeling and updating my entire home and the supplies will definitely be purchased from Torre because they make the entire home improvement process a little easier.”

The store is packed ceiling to floor with any and everything an electrical contractor would ever need...or want. If you are a fan of Milwaukee brand tools, then you feel right at home here. If you are in the Wakefield or Yonkers area and need electrical tools or supplies, don't waste your time going to those big box stores. Woodlawn Supply will have what you need...and want for any electrical project.”
“Harbor freight in my go to location for tolls restoration supplies etc. the staff always goes out of their way to help, the store is well kept and very organized. They even have a bathroom that works. Aample parking. For the average hobbyist/ shade tree mechanic their tools are more than adequate for normal use which at the end of the day is going to save you a lot of money. The store is in my neighborhood and they see me at least once a week.”
“I had a great experience with Kenneth B, the Pro Account Sales Associate at the Yonkers Home Depot. He took the time to clearly explain the features of the refrigerator and carefully went over the dimensions to make sure it would fit properly in my home. Even though I was in a rush because I was on my lunch hour, Kenneth never made me feel hurried. He truly went above and beyond to help me and made the whole process easy and stress-free. His patience, knowledge, and excellent customer service really stood out. I highly recommend working with him if you’re shopping at this location. I really wish I was able to finish my order at the store, but there was an issue with the computer not showing the product correctly. Therefore I had to leave and complete my order on my phone, but I was able to select the fridge that I needed because of his input.”
