“Dr. Carly McDonald is the best! When our 3-month-old Shih Tzu, Suzie, had an emergency, they got us in right away. At only 4 pounds, she's such a tiny little peanut, so we were understandably worried.
Dr. McDonald was incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate. She took the time to carefully examine Suzie, explain everything, and fix the issue while making the entire experience calm and reassuring for us.

“Hello to all cat and animal lovers! I am reaching out to all ~ I have been helping an outdoor cat that is homeless and in need of rescue by someone with a big heart. She's a black/white/tan longhair domestic kitty and appears to be around at least 10-11 years of age. She's around 7 or 8 lbs and in pretty decent condition and she desperately needs to get in out of the cold and to a loving family. She is situated outside of the maintenance shed at CARS, which is located at 6621 RT 227 in Trumansburg.
A very kind-hearted person got her a small warming hut for now, but with the frigid cold setting in, she absolutely needs a home!
To the SPCA or anyone who may be able and willing, PLEASE help her. Thank-You!”

“A great place where they truly care about your animals. Everyone in the office loves what they do and it shows. Highly recommend. Several years ago during Covid my cat had an issue. The regular veterinarian that I went to, at the time, could not get me in for two months. Fountain House took me in same day during Covid took care of the issue and I have never looked back. Extremely happy with everything over the past six years. The distance is almost an hour away but worth the drive.”

“My own experience is that these people suck. They gave good medical care which is why I'm giving four stars but communication sucks and when you tell them that they're communication sucks they drop you as a client. I was late picking my cat up and had a friend do it because I was on a walk without my phone because I am manic and do what I want and they said I had missed my appointment. That is not true and my friend came and picked my cat up. Yet they still said that I missed multiple appointments and they were dropping me as a client there for. I had called them today to schedule an appointment for my cat's eye. So they care less about an animal's eye than they do about dropping a client they don't like. This is highly unprofessional and they shouldn't be in the medical profession then.”
