“A person should always come in to shop at the Dollar tree before they go to their regular grocery store. This time I discovered that there are tons of Hallmark cards that are only $1.25. The lady at the till was very friendly!”
“The store on Campbell Blvd. is one of the cleanest Dollar Generals I have been in. The manager as well as the employees are super helpful and friendly. Most of the stores fly through employees but I see the same faces here and assume the manager is a good boss.”
“Some of the shelves had empty spaces, but this store had the BEST selection of kids clothes I’ve ever seen at a DG. A lot of the new ones don’t carry clothes. The women’s and men’s are in separate isles and they are LOW. I’m a short person and to constantly comb thru clothes that are above my head. Is crazy and annoying. They also had the MOST easter stuff I’ve seen in any store. One of my new favs. :)”

“The staff at this location is both friendly and helpful. They are not intrusive and follow you around just because you look different. But if you need help it is easy to find someone.
Nice thing about this place instead of saying oh it should be on isle 10; they say oh it's on isle 10 follow me and I will take you to it.
I'd recommend this location primarily because of the people they have hired. They are all good people. And you feel good that you shopped at this location”

“I have been through three different dollar trees in the area, I went to Tops and some other stores to look for men’s gloves. When I came in here, I asked the front and she showed me the ones that were left for women, and said that this is all they have. I took those to the checkout, and I asked the lady if these would fit men because at this point I just needed to get some gloves. This lady, Patti Sue, said to me why don’t you just let me check in the back and came out with a big box after a few minutes with men’s gloves. I heard her interactions with other customers as well and little children and she is definitely one of the best customer service persons that you havemade my morning, went above and beyond, and is the most friendliest and warm person. I’ll definitely be back to this dollar tree because of my interaction with Patti Sue.. Thank you so much, Patti!”
“I drove out of my way to work there when they needed cashier help. The staff was very nice and the manager was glad I was there to help out. Although I've never been at that store before, I did my best to help customers find items and I met a lot of nice customers there who appreciated me. If they ever needed cashier help again, I would definitely drive out there again. It was a 45-minute drive, but the kind staff makes it worth it. I also love the toy pigs they have on the registers for customers to squeeze when we have to do restocking in between cashiering!”

“This place is way better than all the sketchy scamming gas stations around here this dollar general was pretty good, and had a good experience with the employee there would recommend this place to grab snacks instead of the gas stations around they also have a seasonal isle for pool items and water toys”
“It's Xmas Eve and we realized we needed more milk and the grocery stores are closed. I stopped in here and a cheeerful employee directed me to the aisle with milk. A moment later, the same helpful and friendly young lady rang me up and I was on my way. I wasn't expecting such fast and friendly service so late on a holiday evening. Thank you!”

“Great store with great prices and smart coupon program. Super friendly staff. Brand names and their own brand for much less than competitive stores. Great selection of cleaning and household supplies, groceries, and home goods. Found these 2 sets of beautiful red satin and silk-like embroidered pillowcases that perfectly match my red satin bedsheets for $5 for the satin ones and $6 for the silky embroidered ones. Smart coupons are easy to add with phone number. A long walk from my apartment building, but worth it in the end.”
“Well stocked. I did have a manager blatantly follow me everywhere throughout the store today. I know I shouldn’t take it personally, as I’ve worked retail in the past and had to do the same thing myself, but boy, is that obnoxious!”
“South odgen store #5273 . I went in the store got a couple things I was a assistant there b4 I because a store Mgr in orchard park #7547 . Store was cleaned organized I talked to Mgr Laurie on duty very nice . Since dollar tree bought the store name out unfortunately things have gotten pricier but that's the way our economy is right now . If corporate reads this it's all about customer service that's how I was as a store manager if u don't have customer service u don't have a store reward your great employees on board . “I love DollarTree!! There are just so many items... so many I buy cleaning supplies, first aid supplies, hair accessories, dog tests, school supplies, games, chatckis galore... today I even find organic canned crushed and whole fire roasted tomatoes to make sauce... can't beat that!!! Everything is so affordable, how can you go wrong? One star removed because sometimes it's a bit of a mess, sometimes the staff is unresponsive to helping...”

“Kudos to the whole team at the location on Walden Ave in Depew. It was the cleanest and most organized Dollar General I have ever been in. I have avoided this chain for years, as well as one other like it, because of bad experiences like disorganization and lack of customer attention. But this store in particular was immaculate and the staff was friendly and hard working, and it showed! They didn’t mope around acting like they hated their job, wishing they were someplace else. “I have to say...I am very impressed with the overall condition of this location. The staff here was full of smiles and very nice and welcoming ! I frequent this location when in the area and have NEVER seen it look so CLEAN and ORGANIZED! The staff have really put A LOT of effort into getting this location to look this AMAZING ! Kudos to the staff who worked hard to accomplish this! Those of us who work at dollar general locations are aware of how hard and almost impossible a feat like this is! It's easy to drop comments and point fingers at the workers of these stores and say they should be fired. Most of you have no clue how hard it is to work the register and stock shelves along with checking dates and deliveries and assisting customers with only two people on schedule! It's a daily fight to keep the shelves organized. As a customer you don't stop to think about that item you decided you didn't want and you put it anywhere but where you grabbed it from....Adding more work to the employees already long list of things to get done! So ... I say to the employees who made this accomplishment possible..... JOB WELL DONE!!!! YOU DESERVE MUCH PRAISE! To the customers leaving the rude comments... Why not help these employees to keep this location looking good? Put items back where you got them from if you decide not to purchase...when grabbing an item off a shelf, don't make a mess of everything around that item... If you damage an item ..bring it to an employee instead of pushing it to the back of the shelf...and if you are physically able.... Bring that cart back to the front of the store... SMALL simple gestures such as these REALLY do make a HUGE difference! Keep up the good work guys!!! Thank you for making my shopping experience here a very pleasing one!!”
“Dollar General on Lincoln ave I've always liked to go to that one. The employees are nice. I was in there so much at one point in time that they got to know who I was. Even after 3 years, I still like that Lincoln's dollar General better then the others.”
“As a previous Supervisor for CVS Pharmacy, I avoided this store for months because the night staff was horrible. You could never find an employee to even check you out, waiting for 10 to 20 minutes for one person to come out of the back even when it was busy, and then they were very rude. One night a few weeks back I HAD to run in because I absolutely needed something and I was amazed that the store was more organized, fully stocked and clean. Then, I did not have to wait to check out! First time I was able to run in and out of the store. Ever since that stop, I have become a regular customer again and it has been a consitant great experience. ALL of the staff is friendly, but DQ ESPECIALLY! He could teach customer service, and he could teach others how to bag your purchases, I joke that he is a specialist at it! So, stop in and give a shout out to DQ because he is wonderful! Maybe a bit shy at first!! The store has been more organized, very great on their stock. I am very impressed with the changes and I now enjoy shopping there for the first time ever. I could see DQ becoming a manager some day, I would have been proud to have worked beside him in a management position any day. Very hard worker! So thank you DQ and all the staff members for making my stops pleasant, I no longer avoid this store. And if anyone else avoids this store because of past experiences, I suggest you give it another chance, I am certain that you too will become a regular customer, too.”

“I have to say that this location has improved so much. It was a great loss when they closed the location on Niagara Falls Boulevard, this location is convenient when you are doing errands on that side of town. There is a young lady that is usually on the register who is so friendly and helpful whichever is a rare combination to find in sales associates nowadays. The personnel on the floor are always diligently trying to keep things stocked.”
“Was in the store today around 530-6 pm. I accidentally left my wallet under the flap in one of the carts. it has my social security cards as well as my children's. It had all of my money for christmas For my kids. my medical cards for myself and my children, as well as around $40-$60 in cash and my bank card and other cards. I asked to review tapes to see if someone maybe took the cash and threw the wallet onto a shelf or something at least and I feel as though I got a bit of an attitude when I asked. the guy said it's on a 24 hour loop so theycouldnt until tomorrow so I asked to come in tomorrow to see and he then said the manager has to do it and that cant happen til Monday ( which is absolutely fine!) but it just felt like I was a bother to even ask. It didn't seem as though anyone really wanted to help much Except for 1 lady in the store That was shopping. I go here all the time! I am a regular, i absolutely love the workers but today I felt like I got attitude just for asking.”
