“Some of the shelves had empty spaces, but this store had the BEST selection of kids clothes I’ve ever seen at a DG. A lot of the new ones don’t carry clothes. The women’s and men’s are in separate isles and they are LOW. I’m a short person and to constantly comb thru clothes that are above my head. Is crazy and annoying. They also had the MOST easter stuff I’ve seen in any store. One of my new favs. :)”

“This store has kind and helpful staff. I came in for chapstick and ended up spending $25 on necessary but unneeded items. The cashier was helpful, when I asked where the chapstick was. (It was the only item I was missing.) I didn't know they had self checkouts at Dollar General. All-in-all, it was a great experience.”

“I’ll give it a 10+ my wife and I move to Colvin ave around 4 years ago and I have never seen this location the way it looks like now. No carts all over the place you can actually walk through the aisles with out having to climb the boxes or all the merchandise left on floor I come to this store 2-3 times per day and is just amazing how there staff is always working, nice, helpful if I was the manager I would give everyone a raise just for having the courage of cleaning the entire store for us the customers.”

“They usually have good selection of household items. For the items on sale you gotta look for the blue dot on the item. During these times the disinfectant get stocked on weekly basis but people usually purchase them within an hour. Ive been lucky once only to find sanitizers. Best to ask when the shipment would be coming.”

There is also more to choose from because there are products for $3 and $5 to round out the experience without digging too deep into your wallet. The only downside is the parking lot. Be careful crossing over so you don’t get mowed down by one of the cars!”

“Went here to get lighter fluid for my Thursday barbecue. however, I also brought an energy drink here and some nachos. The cashier asked me if the lighter fluid was with my checkout items because it didn't look like the other items, and I told him yes; anyway, he was like "Oh yeah! people don't normally sell that anymore - It's all self-light but there's nothing like a good old-fashioned....well, you know, I have stories my guy." Anyway, finally got home when was able to do my barbecue thanks to the life saving lighter fluid. Those ribs were so juicy and tender it was like flavorful rave in my stomach. I especially really liked the Marrow in the ribs - I ate it out as the kids say. I know my body didn't have to do much colorization when it came out as it was already brown going in, and just like it was tender going in, also coming out. I'm really thankful as the past few days I've been constipated. Arguably one of the most joyous experiences making ribs and it's all thanks to that lighter fluid. Originally went to Walgreens but they didn't sell any lighter fluid. I really have to thank everything in that process - the cashier down to the porcelain that I sat on the very end. Every moment during that process I enjoyed thoroughly and it's all thanks to that guy that questioned me about my checkout items. I think at one point he even tried to put me to the barcode scanner, I wasn't having any of that, and I was ready to throw down if he touched me; however, we never reached that point. He could have taken me in a fight... I think, but I would at least got a few good love taps in.”

They always have things that their other locations always seem yo just get a cpl so they go fast or shoplifting got to it before I did ?, anyways its a bit of a drive but worth it to me for the cleanliness and the products being in stock. Try to make it here at least once a week fir basics like TP, dish soap, and a few food items like cereal that they always have on sale. Groceries are gtn more n more expensive every day and I can count on them for stability in that department??”

“idk how anyone gets excited about a dollar store but i am! its so nice the last couple months to see the same people here. used to be alot of turnover. its great and really pleasant because theyre all really nice, funny, friendly, fast and genuinely nice. its refreshing. they know me because im in there all the time. so much in fact anymore id be a shelf lol. so please keep this crew happy, and they deserve lunch on the company for the commitment and how well theyre doing. no clutter in isles, full stocked shelves, cpean. blows me away. somebody at dg owes this crew free lunch or breakfast etc. good job crew. ty.”
