“My sister and I did a paint night as Christmas gifts to each other! Our night started off perfect with a class of Cabernet Sauvignon. We were greeted by our artist, Ronnie, and were seated together! Ronnie was warm, friendly and made our night entertaining! We had time to have conversations and even play games while we were waiting for parts of our painting to dry before moving on! I will definitely be back to do another painting with Ronnie!”

“We had our daughters 7th birthday there. It was the best birthday we've ever had for her. They took care of everything, so friendly, so accommodating, eager to help every kid. She loved, her friends loved it and most important the parents stayed and loved it. This place stands out when it comes to indoor birthday parties, it was different and fun. I would highly recommend for any kids who love to play video games.Al, thank you so much, Effy loved her day.”

“We hired the New York Dart Zone's Mobile Unit to host a Party for our 9 year old son and 23 other boys. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from booking to executing. The mobile unit staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful. They ran a fantastic party. The boys had such a great time! Strongly recommend this crew.”

“Amazing experience for my daughter. She has taken Miss Pam’s crafting club and art club classes. Her confidence in her artwork has grown tremendously, as a result of these classes. She’s made lovely keepsakes that she feels proud of. Can’t say enough good things about mini Monet, the classes, birthday parties, the open studio, crafting supplies and more that Pam offers. Great spot for kids and adults! Love it here”

“Miriam is the fairy godmother when it comes to dream weddings. She helped us put together the most beautiful wedding that was better than anything we've ever dreamt of. From the moment we pulled down the long driveway and saw the deer running through the fog on a rainy December day we knew the Bourne Mansion was magical. We met with Miriam and absolutely fell in love with the place. Everything from the planning and the meetings to the actual wedding day was so easy and flawless. The Bourne Mansion staff really knows what they are doing, everything is so professionally put together and they have it down to a fine science. Our wedding day was perfect, everything went so smooth and honestly was very stress free. The whole wedding process was stress free because we knew we were in good hands with a highly professional team. Our guest had an amazing time and we are being told it was hands down the best wedding most of our guest have been too. The attention to detail by Miriam was so impressive and Asia our bridal attendant was so kind and by our sides the whole night making sure things were just right. Our Matre d, Jake, was unbelievable!! He was the BEST! He was so on top of everything and he made us feel so special. Not only was he so attentive to us but to our parents and our bridal party as well. He was constantly checking in on them making sure everyone was ok and had a drink. He really made our night so special and was there for us for anything we needed. The Bourne Mansion team is truly the dream team and we feel so lucky to have started our marriage off in such a beautiful place surrounded by not only our friend and family but such amazing people from the Bourne Mansion team. If you are considering the Bourne Mansion look no further this is the place!!”

“We had our company holiday party here this past week. It was my first time and it was so much fun.The chicken tenders were really good (that's all I tried). The claw machines actually work (I won both times I played). The staff were friendly and very accommodating.Just a note to those with sensitive feet: The rope bridge in the ball pit area really hurt. Consider a different route to get across. Overall, it was a great experience. I will be going back.”

“We had our wedding here on 11/22/23, Thanksgiving Eve. So many amazing things to say about this venue and our experience. Villas was the first venue we toured at when we started looking for venues for our wedding. We loved it immediately, just from walking in those front doors and also into the main ballroom. After looking at about 10 other venues, we came back here and booked with them as soon as we could. They were able to accommodate our date, which almost every other during that time of year in regards to when we were booking (a little more than a year ahead) was already booked up.Over that next year we had a few meetings with Eleanor who was our main contact and discussed all our details for the wedding. So many our guests, still to today, can’t stop mentioning how beautiful the venue was and also how incredible the food was, specifically the cocktail hour. The cocktail hour room has a beautiful look. Our ceremony was also held at Villas and we had it inside, which was a closed off portion of the main room. And then there’s the main ballroom which is just magnificent. Large space that comfortably accommodated our guests and vendors and made for a smooth night.Gave 4 stars because we felt there were 2 main issues here that we experienced. One was the promise of us having the entire ballroom as long as we had 300 people. We invited 470 guests, ended up having a little over 300 attend. Coming close to our date there were comments made about us not having the full room or that they would be able to fit 300 into half the room or 3/4 the room. Due to our guest count and vendors we were having (2 photo booths and caricature artist) we were adamant about having the full room, not to mention it was also in our written contract. And the problem here is that this was an issue up until the day before the wedding. It was an unnecessary issue to be added to the never ending list of wedding planning. After many discussions we did get the full room.Second issue was dinner being served late and delayed from one side of the room to the other. By the time one side of the room had gotten their dinner, the dessert was being put out for the other side. It was over an hour of dinner serving. It just felt like there was an issue with how many guests we had, yet they claim they can cater 600 guests here. With that being said I again want to say in the end we had a fantastic time here and it was a great venue with excellent staff. Eleanor was pleasant to work with, and Ray and Kathy helped assure us that the night was going to go smooth which it did with their help. Thank you all at Villa Lombardi’s!”

“Stayed there a total of 27 nights during the last 3 months. Desk staff is friendly, but...While there, the water supply for the hotel was shut down for about 5 hours one evening, with no notice given to the guests. Need a shower tonight? you're out of luck. The lobby area/breakfast area were remodeled while i was there, with the breakfast being served out of a different room for about 4 weeks. When i asked if the toaster could be brought in, evidently that was too much to ask.The final two nights i stayed, one of the emergency exits (stairwell and exit) was blocked off, but only on the ground floor. If there had been an actual emergency, guests staying on floors 2-6 would have found themselves unable to exit at the ground floor, and having to go back up the stairs, to the far end of the building to the other emergency exit, and then back down. unless the second floor was on fire.Of the nights i stayed there, only 19 actually managed to end up being included on my rewards account. Evidently, if you don't tell the desk person when you check in to make sure the nights are counted, you can't have them added to your account after you have checked out.The actual rooms were fine, service was sub-par, and the location is just okay.Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of options in the area.”

“Nice, neighborhood type, Italian Restaurant. Menu is good, plenty to select from including yesterday, a Friday in Lent. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Fairly priced. A nice experience overall.”

“I had my wedding here on 11/22/2023 the wedding day went extremely smooth, the bridal attendant was especially wonderful and really took care of me and made sure everything went as planned. She helped me set up my center pieces and brought things on her own that I forgot like a cake topper and utensils to cut the cake she also made sure I was drinking and fed all night and even sent me home with leftovers which I appreciated. The vendors that they recommended were fantastic , I personally used the photographer and the DJ, and my maitre'd was also very kind.I picked windows on the lake because I was in a wedding a year before my wedding and I was able to see how they treated the bride and ran the event and needless to say they really care about you or make you feel that way on your special day. The food was delicious other than the salmon (the only complaint I got from guests) and the on site baker is fabulous I had guests coming up to me asking who made my cake and if they could have the information for the baker. The only gripe I had with the venue was that before the actual date of the wedding they did not do much communicating with me in regards to payments and seating charts and picking linens and the reception introduction paperwork. Actually when they called me a week before the wedding they assumed someone already did that with me and they did not so I had a bit to do a week before the wedding but honestly that little hiccup was nothing in comparison to the amazing day I hadI would 10/10 recommend having your wedding there, it had been an all around pleasant and beautiful experience”

“The waitress came to us the moment we got to our lane. We said we didn't need anything just yet. She never came back. We had to get our drinks ourselves from the bar. And when we were done w our last game we tried to take a picture of our scores but they reset us so quickly that we missed it. Before we were done putting our shoes back on, new players were coming to our lane ?‍♀️ they had not even made sure that we had left & that our space was clean for the next ppl. I still give it 4 stars as a general rating bc of their leather benches and overall friendly atmosphere.”

“Went here recently with my wife to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The host sat us right next to the door and told us that there was no other table. Luckily, our Server Nick came to the rescue and seated us in the middle of room, knowing that we were there for a very special occasion. Nick treated us well, but the other "meat carvers" didn't really care about serving. If it wasn't for Nick, I would've given the service a 2 stars. The meats were em excellent. And the salad bar had great choices.”

“? The most brightly lit hotel room I have ever had. Reading and composing was so much better during my stay.❤️❤️❤️ I very much enjoyed the free hot breakfast buffet. Excellent biscuits, great blackberry compote, vegetarian sausage (heart friendly and delicious), three cheese egg soufflé muffins …. So much better than the hot breakfast choices at other Marriott brand hotels I have stayed at.Mediterranean cooking involves never combining fats and carbs in the same meal. One or the other.Proteins and fat choices available. Separate from carbs and veggie choices.Chef did an excellent job of providing healthy delicious choices.Very safe feeling throughout this area. No homeless seen anywhere. NOT having human body stench lingering on walkways in villages has been noticeable. The school systems and parents are doing something right to prevent homelessness. There are no ocean views from the hotel. Trees on the South, and industrial buildings mixed with trees on the North side. However, the central location is great to explore from.‼️ Drive the posted Speed Limits, police are very active here.Centrally located on Long Island, we drove to Montauk Point and lighthouse. The Atlantic Ocean is calming; see attached video. There is quite a bit of upscale 1930s style architecture on Long Island.Patchogue city is nearby and is a nice town full of restaurants and a few coffee shops.Recommended local restaurant:Lindo Mexico, Mexican restaurant58 S Ocean Ave, Patchogue, NY 11772Lindo Mexico restaurant had a very good vegetarian option. Vegetarian corn and jalapeño Tamales, and their Vegetarian burritoMixing bites of tamales with forked bites of burrito was very delicious. The table green sauce (not spicy) was good, and I used 1/2 a bottle on my meal. I also used a lesser amount of the table hot sauce, also better than usually found in a restaurant. The Tamarind soda was a welcome new flavor experience for me.My stay here continues to be enjoyable.”

“The Hilton Garden Inn MacArthur Airport is overall a great hotel! The only complaints I could have is some minor things that need fixing in the rooms like a the bathroom door could use some new paint and some repairs of chipping on the middle bed side shelf. This is a great place for businesses trips as they provide you with a in room Ethernet connection. There is no communal business center as it mentions on their website. There is just a printer but no computers but there is plenty of space to set up your computer in your room and to connect to the WiFi through the Ethernet. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous, they have a snack place for snacks for purchase and even a restaurant! The only thing that would make this hotel the best ever is an indoor pool! That would make an amazing addition. It would be great if they would include the breakfast and parking in the price of your room. This hotel is also very pet friendly!Safety: The safety is top notch with the main doors to the lobby being locked through the main hours of the night and all other entrances locked 24/7 where you have to have a keycard to unlock it. The only thing that I could note is it seemed like the windows in the hallways and the room could be opened.Food & drinks: They had many options in the little snack shop in the lobby and a full restaurant also.”
