“We have purchased all our couches from Raymour and Flanagan’s and decided to go in and look for a new mattress. We had a very professional, knowledgeable and personable salesperson, Nick, show us and have us test out several mattresses. We had done some research and had some thoughts about what would work for us, but after testing several out we decided to come back and continue our search. When we went back Nick wasn’t on the floor, but another very helpful salesperson continued to show us some options. He excused himself and we found out he saw Nick come in and had Nick take over. I don’t recall that persons name, but kudos to him for letting Nick complete the sale.We ended up with a mattress that was perfect for us and also some pillows that have also helped us have more restful sleep.We were so impressed with Nick we have already recommended him to our friends.”

“I try to visit this great little mid-Century shop whenever I'm in the Webster area. The owner, Robert, is always friendly and very knowledgeable on the subject. While the shop isn't enormous, it's usually packed with an interesting variety of quality MCM treasures. You can find MCM furniture, vintage lighting, artwork, accent pieces, and even some vintage audio components here. I've found the prices here to be a bit more fair and reasonable to start with than some other MCM shops in the Rochester area and, unlike some of those other MCM shops, I've found the owner here is often open to negotiating a bit. I've purchased several vintage treasures here for a reasonable price that were great additions to my home. If you're shopping for MCM furnishings, and you haven't yet been to this shop, you really should stop by and pay Robert a visit at Mod 4 U.”

“I bought a Max 481 hot tub from Pettis 9 years ago, after researching tubs extensively and deciding I wanted one without blown foam insulation. Kathy helped me extensively, and patiently, with the many questions I had about such a permanent and expensive addition to my home. She never pressured or “sold” me at all, just kindly answered questions with knowledge clearly acquired from working with these products for years. Everything was delivered and installed exactly as promised and on time.More important to me has been the service department. Like any large piece of expensive equipment there have been various things that have needed repair or replacement over the years. Dale and his service department have been awesome, and have taken care of everything that has gone wrong (mainly audio related, but also a display panel, and a pump that needed to be replaced). Virtually all of it was covered by warranty without any hassle at all, and anything serious was dealt with rapidly, particularly in the winter when it is critical. Even during Covid they came out and took care of us. Our experience with the service department is what allows us to really enjoy the tub (which still looks basically brand new after nine years), knowing that Dale and crew will promptly and competently be there to take care of if necessary.Go skiing. Go to hot tub. Relax. Nice.”
