“The staff at this post office are ALL truly AMAZING. They greet you with a smile and make sure every customer is totally satisfied.
An issue came up where one of the postal workers was not able to resolve an issue. The postal worker called the supervisor and problem solved.
I give them a 10 star!!!”

“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I ought to know because I’ve been coming here for 37 years. The lady that was a bad clerk years ago is no longer there because her husband left her and went back to Korea by himself and then she retired. The staff now is very nice and accommodating. I’ve seen many employees even retire at this place through the years , that’s how long I’ve been coming here.I have nothing but good things to say.it’s also a safe place to get my eBay packages delivered. Too many porch pirates ( thieves) in the building I currently reside in .”
“I had a great experience at the United States Post Office in Woodmere. There was only one customer ahead of me, and the line moved very quickly. I needed a passport photo and walked in—even though the door states that an appointment is required, the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. They were able to take my photo on the spot and carefully verify that it met all passport photo requirements.
There was also plenty of parking available in the lot, which made the visit even easier. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I got back into my car, the entire process took less than 15 minutes. Efficient, friendly, and stress-free service.”
“I want to recognize Vanessa for her kindness and professionalism during my passport appointment. I had just undergone a dental extraction and was in pain and feeling very vulnerable, but she made the entire experience easy and comfortable for me. She was patient, kind, and did a great job with my passport photos, which I really appreciated. “I did my son’s passport here. I loved the privacy that was created in this location. They have a whole separate room for passports. Ladies taking the applications were knowledgeable and nice. “Line moves fast. Isabella, the lady with the unkept hair, and sunken eye bags is rude and dry. Whereas, the woman with long grey hair is quick, kind and straight to the point. I didn’t catch her name it starts with a M, but give her a raise!”

Not only was Lionel so kind but he was willing to go over the top to help me even when he was solo and had many people in the store. “The Island Park Post Office is a hidden gem! Every time I go, there’s either no line or just a short wait, which is such a relief compared to the chaos at the Long Beach location. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and go above and beyond to help.
Unlike Long Beach, where even the basics feel like pulling teeth, Island Park actually provided me with tape when I needed it—something so small but incredibly appreciated. It’s clear they value good customer service and keeping things running smoothly.
I would 100% rather take the short drive to Island Park than deal with the frustration of Long Beach. This is how a post office should operate! Highly recommend.”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”

“My main location where I ship ALL my packages and letters. It sucks that they aren't open on the weekends. It is always closed from 12-1:15. Joyce is the sweetest lady ever! She is so helpful and gives assistance when needed. I have mainly been coming to this location because of her!”
“This is my local post office. I’ve always had great experience with them always went above and beyond letting my son use the restroom one time it’s a great location that the staff they are very friendly and knowledgeable and asked the truth.”
“My wife and I had to send something over night so we stopped by this post office. It was my first time sending anything overnight so I was a little confused. My wife and I looked at the area where you could get those priority envelopes but couldn't find anything for overnight. My wife asked the clerk, who was really friendly, and they gave us one from behind the counter. The clerk gave us instructions on what to write and informed us that, since it was a long weekend, it wouldn't be delivered till tuesday.
We did what we had to do on our end, handed it back to the clerk, she followed up with some questions to confirm things like address and name, I paid and we were out the door.
All in all, really pleasant experience.”
“I don’t live in this city, but I called this post office for assistance with a package I’m sending to this city. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who answered the phone, but he was incredibly helpful despite being quite busy. I appreciate that he took the time to help me out with concerns regarding the package while he was busy.”
“Agent at the window was extremely helpful. She answered all my questions about mailing packages in a clear and patient manner. She was also offered me the best option for the best price. I usually dread going to the post office, but West Hempstead is where I’ll be shipping from in the future.”

“This morning I called the Fulton Ave Post Office and asked for help finding a lost package. Both of the gentleman I talked to on the phone were kind, efficient, and helpful. An hour after I called, the missing package magically appeared. . .Thanks to their efforts. This is without a doubt a 5 Star Post Office!”
“My family has resided on 139 th st and Linden blvd. since the early fifties. In all that time we have had many postmen/women. Of them all Gordon was the best. Unfortunately he is retiring, leaving a large hole to fill. They have sent a few people but only one stands out. His name is Jeremiah. He is warm, courteous and delivers all your mail and packages with a smile. I believe he is a younger version of our beloved Gordon. Please consider leaving him on this route. This particular post office needs all the good will it can get”
“Passport service there is great! I was able to get an appointment right away, parking was easy to find. Very efficient and polite staff, compared to other locations. They even gave my son a nice activity book with crayons.”
“The regular workers are so polite, helpful, and patient. Whenever the lines are long and I have to wait instead of using the drop box, I get a greeting with a generous smile, and the greeting is worth the wait! So, I don't mind a sometimes unusual busy day at the Post Office!”

“I come to drop off packages every once in a while and have had good experiences. My packages arrive to the destination around 3 days after drop off so very standard and professional. The post office is small, but the clerks work very fast to accommodate everyone. I haven't had any issues so far. They have been lovely so far.”
