“John’s Service center is great! Skip the big chains that’ll overcharge and extort you for everything and go to your local mechanic. I’ve brought my two >ten year old fords there 7 or 8 times in last two years and they’ve always been flexible, fair, got me in for an appointment quickly and gotten my vehicles serviced quickly, thoroughly and NOT charged an arm and a leg. They are very good at getting older vehicles serviced appropriately to pass NYS state inspection. They WILL recommend other services for your vehicle that it needs soon and try to sell you on it, but they will not insist upon it, trying to manipulate you into thinking you needing it done immediately for it to be legal to drive as the big Chain mechanics do. And what else can you expect? that’s how they make a living, they need to continuously sell repair jobs to survive as a business. I highly recommend Johns Service center on Kinne road for keeping slightly older vehicles maintained and running. Just remind them to appropriately torque the lug nuts if they work on your wheels.. -Greg”
