“I cannot say enough good things about Schmidt’s. The food is consistently phenomenal. Everything is always fresh, delicious, and made with care. We’ve also used them for catering multiple times, and it’s been amazing every single time. They make everything so easy, and the quality never disappoints. But honestly, my favorite part is the staff. They are always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their customers. I actually look forward to going in just to see them. It’s rare to find a place that has both incredible food and such great people, and Schmidt’s truly has both.”

“The cashier Tony is the Best ! Very Polite and Helpful. Didn't have a quarter but 24 cents. He said, it was company policy to give a quarter for the cart for customers. I tried to return the quarter but was refused. So, I paid it forward to another customer. I cannot stand shopping in Queens especially with price qauging, rudeness and dirty. Once a month run to Long Island Mastic, I have no issues.Its clean and well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables

“I’m Dominican & my husband is white & let me tell you tht I love me some pupusas & my husband as well this place “Chalet Corralès” in mastic beach NY is the place to go if you like a Salvadoran dish or There Famous PUPUSAS ? it’s always fresh as they only make them once you place a order “As it should be everywhere” on top tht there pupusas n food is always fresh & very tasteful his workers they are so kind & very respectful n very welcoming, the only thing I dislike is the price I feel tht $4 for 1 pupusa is a lot as there just normal size but other then tht this place n there food & pupusas is the place you want to come & spend ur money at, also you can Dine In or Take out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Kids eat free with purchase of entree.... That's worth 4 stars!!! Ha this is an under rated place in the middle of Patchogue village. It's known for its party atmosphere and breakfast and bar opening at 6:00 am. The food is really good for pub food. We love going to the breakfast with Santa and breakfast with Easter bunny.... We tried the steak sandwich and it was good... thin restaurant depot rip eye but well constructed and very flavorful.”

I also get fresh rolls here every couple days, and I get produce like tomatoes and fresh summer corn.
The cashiers are always friendly. I always pay cash and have never had any issues.
I'll be back in a few days for more of the rice and beans and the braised beef that was so good I had to force myself to stop eating it or I'd explode.”
“The stores are always stocked well and neatly. The employees are very helpful. A little high priced..but they have the freshest chicken..varieties of products that are hard to find. I always go to King Kullen when Im looking for that difficult product.”

“Busy day. Hour drive for a weekend getaway for the wife and I. We were hungry and really didn't know what we wanted. Drove by and this place looked crowded. It's those unadvertised hidden gems. Pretty standard market but the hot food counter was great. Got rice with peas, with beans, oxtail and chicharrones. $12 and there was enough food for 4. chicharrones was crispy and delish. Oxtail was okay - very fatty but great flavor. Hopefully I can talk the wife into getting an order on the way home lol”

“Really small, but very solid Eastern European grocery mini mart. My wife and I stopped by today and picked up some fresh pickled Cabbage and some fresh kielbasa. They also have an insane variety of quality Russian beers. Highly recommended for anyone craving some minor Russian items that does not require an extensive shop.”

“I grew up near this grocery, and it was fun to come back to it for a visit over Christmas break. My dad was saying how he always loved their red skin potato salad, so I got him a pound of that and got my mom a 20 pound sack of Carolina rice (which, ironically, seems nowhere to be found around here. Please let me know if it is here in the triad somewhere...anyway, they renovated it recently, and it looks nice and clean like a Whole Foods vibe.”

“For certain items Aldi's has great value, been shopping there years ago in Ohio before RIVERHEAD opened must have been 2002 and we would come back to Jamesport with the truck loaded with great deals and I still go there once a week”
“I am used to Country Pointe ShopRite. The Greenfield's run a great supermarket. This one is ok compared to that and better than some others I've been in.”
“Love this place- has great veggies, fruits, sauces, unique desserts, flowers, cheeses, drink mixes- there’s just so much I get overwhelmed when going in. Oh and homemade dog biscuits which my dogs love.
My only complaint- I was in there today and a young female employee and older female employee were both bashing the owner and complaining very loudly about working there- saying things like “don’t forget this or we’ll have to hear them tomorrow”. Yelling across to eachother from the register to where the young girl was unloading veggies. Found that to be very poor taste and not right for the owners, who I have met several times and seem to be a very hard worker. Don’t get me wrong, we all have our moments and everyone complains but very, very, unprofessional to be loudly complaining about your job and employers in front of customers.
Other than that- 10/10 A++++”
