“We visited the farm for a dinner with the Chef from the Albright Knox Art Gallery.

The whole experience was magical.

The event was 4hrs long and included:

A tour of the farm with Missy (the owner) who is SUPER knowledgeable about farming, animal care, climate care, environmental protection, traditional farming methods, and more. We were able to feed the sheep, and see her whole farm and ask questions along the tour.

The dinner was 5 courses, most all of the food was selected from the farm and local ingredients from Chef Jess and her butcher shop. It was served on a large dining table, and each course was well prepared, served at the appropriate temperatures, and the service during the meal kept my water full and left me wanting for nothing.

There was also live music during the event, played at the perfect volume and kept the ambiance perfectly for a quiet conversation with my wife, or including some of our new friends we were sitting next to.

We also opted for the wine pairing which was presented wonderfully by a local winery. Each varietal was explained as it was poured, and the “wine nerd” was enthusiastic about answering any questions we had.

All in all this farm is more than a dinner place — but if you can get tickets to a dinner event — DO IT!”

“Wow...we have nothing but GREAT things to say about Avanti. If you're looking for a venue that includes food, bar, desserts, and decor all in one place, Avanti is a venue to highly consider. They're transparent about their pricing and although the initial price tag can seem startling, the price you pay is very comparable to other venues when all is said and done. Our coordinator, Raquel, was our rock throughout the entire planning process. The whole Avanti team was very responsive to our inquiries, and we didn't have to lift a finger the day of our wedding. Our guests have also not stopped raving about the food, drinks, and quality of service. It was the best venue we could've asked for!”

“Course had ample grass. Multiple flags throughout the park, very patriotic. Sandy beaches without the hassle of all that dirty water. Very satisfied, try the beef.”

“My husband and I recently got married at SunCliff, and it was an absolutely beautiful venue for our ceremony! The smaller ballroom was the perfect size for our ceremony and dinner since we only had 10 guests. There are various spots inside and outside the mansion that look fantastic for photographs. The food was wonderful, and the suites that we stayed in overnight were huge and had lovely decorations. We also got to enjoy a bonfire by the lake after our dinner and fun lawn games the next morning before we left. Brenda and Dave were both very friendly and accommodating with how we wanted our day to look. They have definitely done an amazing job with restoring the mansion. The one area that could be improved is communication. Brenda responded to our questions via email in a timely manner, which was appreciated; however, sometimes not all our questions were answered, so then we had to reach out again with the same questions. Another small issue that arose was that one of the waitresses (not sure who) was a bit snippy with us when we inquired about missing side salads that were supposed to accompany some of our entrees. Overall, though, we had a very positive experience with SunCliff and would highly recommend it to people who either live in the area or who want to do a destination wedding on Lake Erie. Everything turned out wonderfully for our special day!”
