The United States Postal Service (USPS) is dedicated to providing secure, reliable, and affordable mail and package delivery to over 157 million addresses across the United States and beyond. With more than 30,000 retail locations, USPS processes nearly half of the world's mail and continually seeks to enhance customer experiences. At the Elmhurst location, one staff member, Octavia, has received praise for her exceptional customer service. Customers have noted her patience and thoroughness when assisting with tasks like setting up a P.O. Box. Many appreciate her kindness and support, especially in difficult situations. However, some reviews suggest that there is room for improvement in overall customer service training for staff to ensure consistent quality in service. While some customers have had positive experiences, others have expressed frustration regarding service quality and the challenges of working in a stressed environment, especially during tough economic times. Overall, USPS remains a vital service in the community, recognized for its commitment to delivering mail and packages efficiently.
understaffed.. yes.. but the biggest problem is how incompetent and unprepared the customers here are. as much as usps workers have to do their job you should come prepared, i dont get why everytime i go nobody knows how to mail/ship an item or understand basic common sense rules.

It could be a nice place but it's been neglected by the USPS. They don't have an APC machine, they never had one. It's 2025, but here it's 2001. A painful experience that reminds you of why you hate the USPS.

Don't waste your time and money paying extra for priority shipping because your package arrives when they want it. What a bad experience it's been several times since this happens. They don't return the money and your package arrives a week later. They don't care that you need your delivery quickly.
