Dollar General Elmira is a neighborhood general store offering hassle-free and affordable shopping. It provides a pretty good variety of items including food, snacks, health and beauty aids, and household products from trusted and private brands, plus beer and tobacco. Customer service is excellent, and most of the staff is great, very helpful, and nice, even at closing time. The store operates with limited staff, and recent truck driver shortages can affect stocking. The small team is doing the best it can under these constraints, so customers are asked to be mindful of this situation.
I spoke with a gentleman named Neal today. I called looking for a specific product. He went above and beyond to help me locate it in this store. Great job Neal!

There are 2 young fellas at the cash registers who are both so helpful and personable. It’s a clean store, neatly stocked.

Love Dollar General! Most of the staff is great and very helpful. Even when I come in last minute b4 they flose, they help ke out and are very nice to me. Pretty good variety of items here also
