“Contrary to many opinions here, I've sincerely never had a problem with this location. I am in the middle of a renovation and frequently come here with my general contractor. We're usually prepared with measurements, narrow down our shopping list by looking online at what's in stock, and don't hold up the clerk by asking many questions. The types of services that I use are: 1. installation services (allow yourself some time), 2. general store purchase, 3. store purchase with assistance getting heavy things down from shelves or other types of assistance, 4. home delivery and online purchases, 5. Pro Services (with my contractor). Go in, pick up what you need, pay, then leave. Just like any other store.”

“Every first of the month, Home Depot offers a mini activity project for kids. You just have to sign up, let them know how many kids you have, and pick up a pre-packaged kit. The activity pack includes everything you need, along with some stickers. You'll just need a hammer, a screwdriver, and some paint. You can do the activity at Home Depot or take it home to complete. I really enjoy this activity for the kids—it gets them using their hands and off their tablets. Great job to Home Depot for providing such a family-friendly thing to do on a Sunday morning!”

“I love Home Depot. For building supplies, little fix ups, and even housewares like bleach, cleaners, batteries etc.. You can always find a great deal. Staff is very helpful. Staff is accessible. In some Home Depots you can't find anyone, but at this location they are very helpful. A few busses stop right across the street, Q7, Q37, Q51. Close to Rockaway Boulevard train station( with short bus ride).

“It is a place where families and merchants buy non-daily necessities. It has major categories, but the smaller categories still need to be improved. The place is very large, so it is difficult to find. Maybe it’s because I don’t go there that often.”

I brought back my box and receipt, and Remy credited me the $15 on the spot. Amazing customer service! He has been there a long time and definitely should be a manager or assistant manager.
I am writing to give my highest praise to Remy (Raymond) RXM3874 at the Avery Avenue Home Depot in Flushing for providing truly outstanding, professional customer service.
I have been a loyal customer at this location for many years, relying on them for home improvement supplies, delivery and contractor deliveries. I brought in a Ring Doorbell Pro that I had purchased to check a concern regarding an opened box seal and exterior writing. Remy took my concerns seriously, immediately inspected the device, and checked the showcase inventory.
When he saw the store was out of stock, he went above and beyond by searching the online system and neighboring store availability. To save me from sitting in heavy traffic, he kindly recommended overnight home delivery. He handled the entire order entry with extreme care.
Furthermore, when I returned to his desk to request extra security precautions due to delivery issues in my neighborhood, Remy immediately called the logistics department to formally mandate a physical signature upon delivery. Thanks to his proactive efficiency, my new device arrived safely at my doorstep the very next morning.
Remy is a terrific asset to Home Depot. He is incredibly attentive, detail-oriented, and provides the exact kind of excellent customer care that keeps lifelone shoppers like me coming back. Thank you, Remy!
