“Went here a few months ago and was blown away by the spaciousness! Definitely more expensive than the other arcades and be prepared to spend more money. However, the merch and plushies are official and licensed, as far as I know this is the only arcade in flushing that does not have bootlegs so that may explain the higher price tag. I will say, I really liked the Lunar New Year promo they had and they should definitely have similar events more often to offset the difficulty and high cost-but at the same time, it's still skill and luck based!Machines are definitely harder, but ask employees for help! The last time we went, we were trying to win a derpy looking dinosaur, and it was very difficult (claw was too weak and plushie was very big and chubby) and the worker helped us reposition. The app did glitch and take away 2 tries for us that we weren't able to play, but the same worker helped us (I never got her name but she had glasses!). She was very encouraging and sweet and helped us win it!”

“The owners know all their products and are very experienced with importing merchandise that otherwise might be difficult to attain here in the States. From Transformers to Gundam, from Power Rangers to Ultraman, from One Piece to Jujutsu Kaisen, they’ve quite literally have it all. My brother and I will be frequenting this spot quite a lot in the near future and I hope anybody that is even remotely interested in shopping collectibles or hobby items that you will give this place a chance and fall in love with the atmosphere as did my brother and I!!”

Their variety of options on balloons is what really caught my eye. Karli has the talent of bringing a vision to life (which can be hard to come across these days). “No weekend is complete without a run to 5 Below. It's always for something that's needed like a phone charger cord and then I wind up seeing so many other things that I feel like I must have. This location is usually pretty well stocked and the staff is friendly. Every once in a while they're short handed up front but they seem to make it work. On this trip I got pillows and a throw for my guest bedroom because they were super cute and affordable. I also bought another bookcase/organizer because I used one of theirs for my pop up shop set up and it works really great. Even though some things are more than $5 most of my items were actually $5. If you have a very small child, I'm warning you they have lots of cute toys and a lot of candy especially near the checkout so either prep them before you go in or don't bring them.”

“I have been searching for the squishmallow mystery, dumpling kit, jumbo, and everywhere I checked they were sold out. I called the Five Below in Forest Hills on Sunday 12:7 and spoke to a very pleasant and professional young man. His name was Steven. He told me call back tomorrow. We’re supposed to be getting a shipment. Sure enough I called and he told me that they just got eight in and that he would put aside whatever amount I needed. I told him just two. I told him that my niece would be coming by to buy them. He went out of his way to take care of me. Kudos to him. He is certainly a great asset to the Five Below team. ?”
