“We took one of our cats to see Dr. Halpern after AMC Hospital in the city diagnosed her with cancer. Our cat Annie has lymphoma cancer and we wanted a second opinion on how to deal with the situation. After receiving the bad news, it's beyond sadness, but we want to provide as much care and love as possible for the sick cat. Dr. Halpern is a gentle professional animal doctor who understands my feelings and how sad I am now. Annie's and my quality of life also count in this. He wanted to know how much we would invest to keep Annie alive. On my first visit, I focused on Annie and paid little attention to the conversation. Hubby did most of the talking with the doctor. Tyler, Dr. Halper's assistant at the time, was a big help. He took care of Annie from the moment he took her into the room, removed her from the carrier, held her for Dr. Halper to examine, and then put her back safely into her carrier. Both Doctor and assistant gave Annie a nice pet. We had another assistant, Kiara(?) the second time we brought Annie here, and she, too, handled Annie with so much compassion. This place offers a lot of love and affordable bills. The big hospital, AMC in the city offers a lot of fees with less compassion. It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Halpern, his assistant, and the entire staff at Quality Veterinary. My life was turned upside down when I heard the bad news about Annie, but I have slowly recovered since then. His suggestion to give Annie daily IV fluid on top of daily medication is one of the best ideas! AMC only offers the med. Although Annie doesn't have much time left, she is now back doing her routine as she was living before the hospital visit. We're providing her with so much love and joy and we can't thank Dr. Halpern and this place enough. I highly recommend Dr. Halpern and the place to examine your furry babies! Thank you!”

“It’s not easy finding a local animal hospital providing a very cozy intimate environment and a wealth of experience. Oh how we love our animals. I had to leave her and let God. THANK YOU to her experienced doctor and the wonderful team who took the time to answer my questions honestly and provided the best care for her. They know she always makes a grand entrance and can be a handful but not once do they make me feel she doesn’t belong there. Just don’t be too late. “Dr. Wallach is truly the vet everyone needs. He takes his time and speaks to you before and after seeing your pet and goes over diagnosis and prognosis in so much detail. I've transferred care from another vet in the area and have never looked back since! My dog Coco was in pain due to unknown causes and Dr. Wallach has been wonderful. “Brought my maltipoo here for an emergency visit. They were kind, caring and accommodating throughout the process. The receptionist on the phone was kind, took the necessary information and was able to provide a sme day appointment. Once I got there the facility was clean, the front desk was efficient, and all of the staff were great. My pup and I had a great experience and would come back for a regular visit as well as an emergency (if needed although I hope not lol)”

“I am very pleasantly surprised and happy I found Garden City Veterinary Care. I was transitioning from my old veterinarian to find a new one after 7 years with them. Main reasons is because my old veterinarian clinic quality of care started declining and prices were substantially increasing. Like any good pet parent, you look for a veterinarian that gives the same care as if it was their own pet. Honest and fair prices. I found this in Garden City veterinary care especially with Dr. Elizabeth Stietzle and the team there. My fur baby had her first dental cleaning there. They explained to me what it entailed and were transparent with the prices. Dr. Stietzle also kept in touch with me before and after the procedure. I found my fur baby's forever doctor!”

“My cat Luka started having serious problems and I took him to West Hempstead Animal Hospital where his care has always been top notch. The staff are helpful, friendly knowledgeable and caring. Even though he did not like being there at all, I always felt that he was in the best care.He started deteriorating quickly. Every time I called about something serious that was happening with Luka, I was given an appointment immediately.The doctors and technicians took time to examine him and explain every detail of what they were doing. I felt confident that he would be alright.Unfortunately after a rough week of tests and bloodwork we found out that he had inoperable cancer and there was nothing the doctors could do to prolong his life and/or make him comfortable. I was able to bring him home for one more day so our family could spend time with him.We brought him back the next evening when the hospital was empty where we were all treated with such compassion and dignity, especially our beloved Luka. He closed his beautiful eyes one last time with his family around him and I know he felt our love. As hard as it was for all of us I feel that Dr. Cutler and the staff made it a little easier to say goodbye.Thanks to all of you who helped Luka, and us, on this difficult and heartfelt journey.This was a previous review before Luka became very ill.:Wonderful care for my pet! It was evident that everyone cared about my cat, Luka. He was treated so well, and everyone was very understanding. “Crawford Animal Hospital is a great vet. I have taken my Dachshund Duke to Crawford since he was just a puppy and have always had great experiences with them. We normally see Dr. Gary and he is gentle, kind, and compassionate. We have seen the other providers as well from time to time and everyone is great there. You can tell they really do care for the animals. Dr. Gary is very attentive and listens to my concerns and goals for my dogs care. When we board Duke I am able to call and check up on him and get thorough updates. So happy I found Crawford since i haven't had the best experiences with some Veterinarians with my last dog.”

“I was in search of a new vet doctor for my fur babies, I called VCG, and from the phone call alone, I was attached!! The rep (Jessica), who answered my call, was extremely polite, to say the least. She took the time to ask questions about my cat, to best fit him into the schedule. She offered same day appointment after making sure the other client was no longer coming for their appointment. Once I got there, the place was clean and bright, I felt very welcomed ? I don't remember the nurse's name, but she too was kind and caring. Dr. Ma was also very kind and showed a lot of caring and concern for my Tigger. My overall experience was amazing, and my Tigger, who is very scared of strangers, surprisingly was comfortable walking around at ease because he sensed he was around good professional people. The next day, Dr. Ma called me right away with his test results.
