“I'm so confused by the many low ratings. I have been a customer for several years. I have visited the bank in person dozens of time and was always treated extrememely well. I've taken out a checking account, a savings account, a credit card, a debit card, a car loan, refinanced a car loan, and took out a mortgage to buy a home. All went exceptionally well in every instance and the staff were always pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Further, I use the app AND the website often and both are efficient and easy to use. Having worked in customer service before, I know that many, MANY people are difficult to please and most people who take time to give a review are the ones with a problem. Maybe that explains it. This credit union and the people who staff it deserve far better reviews than what the unsatisfied (vast) minority are taking time to post.”

“Cathy from AmeriCu on Arsenal Street in Wayertown was awesome today. My son took out his first loan on January 9th, we had a issue where the dealer wanted an additional $2000 so we had to go down their and they offered him a credit card and instead she was able to refinance his loan. It was an easy transaction and she was very helpful. She took the time and explained things. My son was a happy person.”
“I’ve been with Northern for many years. I’ve banked with others and I’m glad I made the switch. I once had a large overdraft when I started a new job, northern called, they listened and treated me like a human. They understood I needed money to survive and rather than taking the entire amount they allowed me to make payments each check.
They’ve worked with me and helped me find ways to take out loans when times got tough. They’ve been nothing but good to me.”
