“Huge shout-out to Joanne - who went above and beyond for us! Long story short, we had a couple items sent to an address in Beacon where mail delivery had been temporarily put on hold. When I came to the office to inquire about the parcels' whereabouts, she was incredibly kind and quick to help us figure out a solution. By the next day, our items showed up on our doorstep. We were amazed at how effective she was at handling the situation. Thank you for the wonderful service, Joanne!”

“Milton's post office is a remnant from a past world. It's 'Post mistress's knows all it's patrons and has you packages that are too large to fit into your PO box on the counter before you ask. It is a reminder that there were once places that didn:t exist to process customers like they were a machine.”

The delivery people are friendly, the post office employees are very kind and willing to work with you, and they are able to adjust during extenuating circumstances. I’ve been waiting for over two weeks for my package to leave IL, and I received it less than two hours after New Windsor post office received it from the area distribution center. Can’t thank them enough for their impeccable service”

“Excellent Post Office. I’ve always loved the USPS and very happy that this town has a great one. The self-serve kiosk is a huge advantage and allows shipping and stamp purchase 24 hours, in addition to it being a nice alternative at busy times or when in a rush. It’s a dated building, but the main purpose is utility and not a beauty contest so that’s certainly no deterrent. The staff is excellent, particularly Rebecca and Robert, after Jose retired being long-standing customer-focused friendly staff member. In a small “downtown” area of the hamlet of Hopewell it’s conveniently located. Always happy coming to do business here.”
