As a flight attendant, who often has to get to the airport early, I appreciated the 24 hour schedule the store offers. And I had the pleasure of running into an associate named Alex, who was extremely helpful, funny, and kind. That man deserves a raise!

Horrible place The pharmacist and pharmacy staff are clueless. My prescriptions are never ready. They said my doctor set a release date for my medication. Guess what? No such thing. Clueless! Not to mention the manager, he’s not even a pharmacist. The pharmacy manager is on vacation permanently. Horrible.

nothing special about duane reade just like Walgreens

The line at the register is always sooo long. You have to know that you will waste at least 10 mins waiting on the line to pay.

The experience at this store was wonderful this is because it is a 2-level store, the store has escalators that go up and down and an elevator. The store sells many things inside and the people are very nice and friendly.

The pharmacy will not respond to phone calls during listed hours (they weren’t on break). Their lines are exceptionally long.

BEWARE!!! This Pharmacy will not run your insurance so that you will have to pay for your medication. That pharm techs in the second floor will just tell you that you have a co-pay when in fact you should have none. I just found this out recently when I contacted my health insurance for a medication that I was 100% covered but Duane Reade charged me. I would advise you go and take your prescription somewhere else.

I tried to use a Walgreens eGift card and the cashier and supervisor here didn’t know how to process it. Need better staff training.
