Duane Reade is a convenient, 24-hour store that offers a wide range of products, making it a reliable stop for many customers. The store is a two-level location with escalators and an elevator, providing easy access and a spacious shopping environment. Staff members are generally friendly, helpful, and kind, with some employees going out of their way to assist customers. Notable employees include a helpful associate in the beauty department and a staff member who stepped up to assist a child in need. Customers appreciate the personal relationships built over years, which often lead to extra care and good service. The store is praised for having everything needed, especially during evening or night visits, and for quick checkout processes. However, some customers mention that pharmacy staff may sometimes be a little lost when advising on certain products, especially for international customers. Overall, Duane Reade is valued for its friendly staff, helpful service, and 24-hour availability.
The store is clean but the escalator during my visit is out of order. The cashiers are very friendly.
