“I was recommended to come here and I found a cute Marine tshirt and this helmet bag! It is spacious and sturdy, I’ve used it as a laptop bag with all my essentials and also a gym bag. Excited to shop here again!”
“A great place to just chill and read, have a cup of java, very easy to find what you need!! My favorite store!!
Also got to meet my favorite author last night, Douglas Preston!”

“Love to go there - amazing selection - but you have to understand the experience. It contains a HUGE selection of games, and RPG books. Might be the most in NY State outside of the huge Millennium games up in Rochester. I've found items that have been out of print for years, or had small production runs.
BUT...
Stacked in huge shelves that stretch from floor to ceiling. It takes a while to read through everything! With tiny aisles that barely have room for one person to walk down. If you're claustrophobic, be warned!
It's almost all at MSRP. Not a place to get a bargain or a deal, generally (that said, they do have a bargain shelf at the back of the store. Right hand aisle, left side all the way back).”

“the most special little pocket of a craft store i had ever hoped to find. forget michael's, artist & craftsman supply has an immense variety of what you need to make art, and you'll be supporting small business! i went in just for some spools of embroidery thread, and not only did they have a huge spectrum of colors, but i must have left with two armfuls of craft supplies - as someone who loves to always be creating new things, that's how i know I'll be coming back forever!!”
“I recently traded in some silver coins at Vieira and I feel that he gave me a very fair price. He explained what everything was worth, and also explained what things would be worth if they were in different conditions or had different dates/mint marks. His inventory is relatively small but he does have some interesting pieces, and I was easily able to find a coin I liked that was similar in value to what I was trading in.”
“My fav type of craft shop; hold the frills, has all the goods w/ crafty community members at the counter who are excited to help u bring your project to fruition. Will be returning! Got my eye on the little origami kits at least hehe look so fun”
“Staff are great. I needed some chalk markers, walked out with exactly what I needed plus a really awesome dot-by-letter book Michelle recommended. Lovely community feel no big chain store can give. Highly recommend this place!”
“Went here a few months ago and was blown away by the spaciousness! Definitely more expensive than the other arcades and be prepared to spend more money. However, the merch and plushies are official and licensed, as far as I know this is the only arcade in flushing that does not have bootlegs so that may explain the higher price tag. I will say, I really liked the Lunar New Year promo they had and they should definitely have similar events more often to offset the difficulty and high cost-but at the same time, it's still skill and luck based!Machines are definitely harder, but ask employees for help! The last time we went, we were trying to win a derpy looking dinosaur, and it was very difficult (claw was too weak and plushie was very big and chubby) and the worker helped us reposition. The app did glitch and take away 2 tries for us that we weren't able to play, but the same worker helped us (I never got her name but she had glasses!). She was very encouraging and sweet and helped us win it!”
“My favorite board game store in the city! The play space is a bit small but it's manageable. The staff is top notch and the community is simply amazing!
They have most if not all of the popular board games as well as a selection of minis and paint supplies. They also have a good selection of rpg material and supplies!
If ever you find yourself close by, I highly recommend a quick browse!”
“Tannens is a great store. I've bought from them a good handful of times. Always great service. This time, I figured I'd try the $50 mystery box. First time purchasing it. Man(!!!) am I glad I did. I know this must be a rarity, I opened the box and saw a thin book, something in another box, a thick deck of cards and a mentalism piece that was in a thin cardboard box. So, ok, let's see what I got. The thick deck of cards was The Bigger Picture, the thin book was HERMES, the mentalism piece in the box was Rhine 2000. What was in the other box, A Mikame Magicians Changing Chest circa 2005 in brand new condition!! I was FLOORED!! I'm sure I got really lucky.
Thank you Tannens”
“Awesome place , definitely recommend going for more than one visit

“I gotta say this place is a time capsule it has really cool old school trucks, trains, busses, boats, planes and anime stuff too like Gundum star track star wars etc... and the old man is really cool... soo go there and show some love.”
“Stopped in to get a frame and was helped by Jeremy. He was so helpful and patient as we looked through various frames together. He even helped me put the wire on the frame. Glad I went into the store instead of trying to order online!”
“Brooklyn Hobbies offers a fantastic selection of RC-related products and accessories. Their staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer any questions you may have. They even have a full-sized mini RC track in the basement, where you can test out your new purchases. Richard, is a great resource and will guide you through the process of selecting the perfect RC for your needs. I’m thrilled to have a brick-and-mortar RC Hobby store in our neighborhood. Keep up the excellent work Guys!”
“I love this place

“This is one of the best Michael's I’ve ever been to. I had a young lady (did not get her name but wish I had to give her a shout out) who helped me with my online order and was so patient, kind, and efficient even on a busy Friday night. Thank you for making my shopping experience a great one.”

“I get a bit nervous when shopping online at a retailer I have never used before. I could list a number of places NOT to use.
PopnGames was excellent. I received my shipment only a few days after ordering. It was packaged well and in great condition.
Recommended.”
“My lcs is not very competitive so im forced to shop online.. I have made multiple purchases from this company.. always by mail and by check. Never had any issues.. the prices are always the best online.. I even got what appears to be a bu coin when I paid for cleaned.. maybe an attempt to keep my business.. either way, very happy with Bullion Exchanges.”
“I haven't actually spoken to anyone yet but I am trying to sell my stamps so if someone can help me out I would appreciate it because they are rare and in mint condition and I have heard good things about this place but I am not sure what is going on.”
“I love Michael’s when I visit Long Island. I could be in there for HOURS ? Love the Selection, Variety and sheer volume of Items ! Heaven for Me !! ????????”

“One of my favorite places in New York to work and spend a few relaxing hours. The café area is amazing, and the Starbucks inside is highly recommended. It’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee, read a book, or get some work done in a cozy atmosphere.
The bookstore itself is huge and has an incredible selection of books, always very updated with new releases and trending titles. I especially love the Paperblanks notebooks — I’m absolutely obsessed with them, and this location always has beautiful options available.
If you’re visiting NYC, I definitely recommend this Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue. It’s spacious, comfortable, and you can truly find a little bit of everything there.”
“My 89 yr old mother got stuck in the elevator at the Michaels on Metropolitan Ave on Friday afternoon . When she got out the on duty manager made sure that she was ok and provided a place to sit and water. He also rode down with her when we had finished shopping as she was uneasy going alone . (I am claustrophobic, and that day's incident really convinced me that I did not want to be in that elevator lol.) the store is nice, but I'm impressed me most was the personal care we received that day.”
“This is a nice place to find unique scale models. The selection of trains in particular is expansive. Reading some of the other reviews almost made me skip this place, but I think you just have to understand that while this may not be the cheapest place to find a particular model it is the rare store where you can see such a diverse selection of scale models in one place. The gentleman behind the cash register was very warm and helpful when I asked him to point me in the direction of some specific models I was looking for. Overall, a really unique old school shop in midtown that I look forward to visiting again.”
“Love looking through this treasure trove. Lots of fun stuff, I just wish they had a bigger bead selection because they are a craft store! Most of it is at a good price as well.”
“It's a pleasure going to a store where they have great customer service. I enjoy going to this Michaels every thing is well organized. I would recommend. Parking is sometimes a challenge. Everyone is always looking to park in the lot because you don't pay. But there are outside parking meters.”
“Even though there's one tile missing out of our Mexican train dominoes set, we really enjoy playing Mexican train dominoes. We are horse people and we just cannot wait after a good days ride in the Shawnee national Forest to get back and put the horses up, take a good shower, and get down to the community room and get to playing Mexican train dominoes with our friends and family.”
“Montasy is one of my favorite spots for Gundam TCG locals. The venue is spacious, the staff friendly, and tournaments are run efficiently. The venue has a wide selection of merchandise spanning the majority of card games, and comic books.”
“Cute shop that’s right near Rockefeller Center! I was on the hunt for Sonny Angels my whole trip, so when I found some I was ecstatic! Unfortunately, if you are a serious collector, they had very few series’ to choose from: they had birthday, flower gifts, vegetables, and one animal series when I went. The smiskis were heavily stocked though!! I can never find authentic Sonny angel in my area though, so I thought it was worth it! The only other thing was the price… $30 even for 2 Sonny angels is madness. So, if you’re worried about the price, find another store! But this store was conveniently located and since it was my last day in the city, I nabbed a few! ☺️”
“Certain of the items seemed understocked, but that could be due to the Christmas holiday. Overall, it was a nice shopping experience. I went late Christmas eve so no crowds. And, I was able to get what I was looking for.”
“Great shop with a friendly staff and a nice selection of comics, collectibles, and figures. The store is organized, welcoming, and always worth stopping into. Definitely recommend Royal Collectibles.”
