If I could give this place 0 stars.. I would. Dirty, gloomy and overall a mess. I've been using that pharmacy for years and since the ownership switched it's been downhill since. I went in a week ago, to pick up some meds and the attitude I got from a woman at the register was diabolical. No courtesy toward customers and looked like she hated her job. After this foul treatment I demanded my scripts be changed to a different pharmacy. The one where the OG FSP guy owns. The square! The service and treatment is so much better as-well as bright lighting and cleanliness. This place is done.

Used Franklin Square pharmacy for many years. Since it was sold to new owners the service has gone downhill. Waited 30 minutes on hold to find out where my script was. Then they informed me that there wholesaler was out of it but that it will be in tomorrow. Mind you I ordered this on Sunday and today is Thursday. No phone call to me to let me know of this delay..
The old owners kept you posted.
All my scripts are now being switched to another private pharmacy

Ownership changed around April/May 2024 and service quality went away with previous owners. Just too many questions about why the new owners were making me pay cash for prescriptions when Medicare said they are not allowed to do it. I just moved on and didn't bother trying to get the money back because it was just too much aggravation dealing with them. Goodbye $130 that was questionably charged by Franklin Square Pharmacy and good riddance. As Sonny said in the movie a Bronx tale, " It's the best $130 you ever ever spent cause you get rid of that aggravation". Thankfully as a result, I found Main Source Pharmacy in Huntington, NY who delivers for free and no issues, EVER!

This used to be the best pharmacy in the area. Staff were amazing and prescriptions were always ready before you even arrived. Pharmacist's genuinely cared. They once even covered a flu shot for my father when he had a problem with his insurance.
Since new ownership took over it's been one thing after another. The biggest issue seems to be communication. A few times now, a family member or I had called in a refill only to find when I come in, they have no record of the refill request. Other times, I've spoken to the pharmacist confirming prescriptions are received and filled, only to find staff running to get them filled once I come in. It's extremely disappointing to see a once wonderful pharmacy go down hill so fast. I tried to give the new ownership a chance but they still haven't gotten it together. I gave up and moved my family's prescription to another pharmacy.
I'm leaving this review with the hope they actually look into customer complaints and improve before they lose all their customers.

The were the best. My family has been using them for over 40 years. But something has happened. Everyone has left. It’s not the same pharmacy. Something is going on. Sad. I loved them. Not so much anymore.

I will NO LONGER fill my prescriptions through corporate pharmacies. After getting the runaround from multiple CVS pharmacy locations to fill a brand new medication, I finally called Franklin Square Pharmacy, which was recommended to me by my best friend. I was greeted with such professionalism by the front and the pharmacist. Not only was my script filled in a timely manner but they also showed that each customer is valued. Thank you so much Franklin Square Pharmacy for helping me when other places did not care.

Excellent customer service and personal service. I love knowing the pharmacists and their knowing me as a customer and my monthly pharmaceutical needs. They always go the extra mile with their personal neighborhood service.

Nothing better than supporting local businesses. I will never go to a CVS or Walgreens again. It's nice to walk into a pharmacy and someone actually approaches you to ask if you need help. Hope this place stays open forever.

I recently had an unpleasant encounter over the phone with two employees of Franklin Pharmacy. After receiving a bill for my deceased father . I called to inquire for the breakdown of the bill that was due . I did have issues with the bill but that was the least of my concerns. My father was their loyal customer for at least ten years .When I informed the pharmacy in my conversations that he had passed away. There was not a single word of condolences expressed even though I was told they were aware who he was and that he was a long time customer of theirs . It’s sad when a business loses their human touch.

Apparently Grant from Franklin Square Pharmacy is unable to deal with his customers. He has zero patience and is unable to properly listen to what his customers are saying. Then blames them later on if something goes awry. I advise him to just quit and find an occupation that makes him less defensive. Like maybe in China somewhere. I didn't really get a chance to fully do business with the pharmacy because of Grant. Maybe they should consider firing him. It definitely couldn't hurt.
