“I usually stay quiet, but after seeing unfair comments about Fresh Meadows Halal Meat & Grocery, I feel the need to speak up. I have been shopping at Fresh Meadows Halal Meat & Grocery for a long time, and my experience has always been positive. The staff works very hard, especially during busy times like Eid, to serve the community with honesty and respect. Seeing negative comments about qurbani meat only based on weight is disappointing. Qurbani is an act of worship done for the sake of Allah, not just focusing on pounds of meat. If someone only cared about getting a certain amount of meat, they could simply buy regular meat instead of ordering qurbani. People should understand that the live weight of an animal is not the same as the final cleaned meat you take home. There are fat, bones, organs, the head, lungs, skin, and other parts that are removed during the process. Anyone familiar with qurbani or halal meat preparation already knows this. Leaving public accusations and damaging reviews without understanding the full process creates unnecessary negativity and gives a bad impression of our Muslim community. Islam teaches patience, fairness, gratitude, and good character, especially during Eid. Before trying to harm a halal business that works hard for the community, people should think carefully about the consequences of spreading negativity online.”

I truly felt like I was getting a celebrity consultation. They asked what I like , my style of cooking , my intentions (which was 5 day meal prep of 3 meals a day ) weight , cuts and I got the most perfect put together box of meat ever. Good people , even better quality products. Will only get my meat here and I spent less than I would at stop n shop or ShopRite. Can’t beat the personalized experience , I can’t wait for next weeks meal prep order !! Also it was so clean and trimmed , it took all the hard prep work out of the way for me and none of the mess , great for busy people and families , or cooking for 1. “This past Fri., I went to get some staples for a Memorial Day bbq. Lots of choices of various cuts of meats as well as different kabobs. All of the food looked fresh, and delicious. The store was clean and empty at 11:30am so you were able to get a full view of all of their offerings. Grilled our items and they all were delicious. They were tender and seasoned perfectly. However, the guy that helped us looked beyond miserable. We had a small quick order so maybe a smile, thank you or an appreciation for our business would have been nice. 5 stars for the food, and a generous 3 for the customer service.”

“probably the BEST healthy hot food you could get yourself in this area, and the price is hard to beat. $13 for 3 pieces of seasoned baked bone-in chicken, kale salad, and baked ziti. everything is made fresh. the meat is juicy and not dry. definitely recommend the baked ziti & the meatballs! this is also vegetarian and vegan friendly, they have so many options. they post what they have on their instagram everyday.”
